Bose WAVE Music System Home Audio System : Best Audio Sound I have heard

Simply the best best bedside sytem you can ever buy. Simply the best best bedside sytem you can ever buy,not only this but you also can connect it to tv or any other media player.

Excellent musichavent found anything more life life. Let me start by saying this music system is not for everyones choice. Choose the music system based on the music you like. I love classical and realism of the life like instruments (like in jazz). So i took my music with me while testing out various systems available. After 3 months of testing on all the available speakers and sound systems (from the cheapest to ones that cost 20x the cost of bose wave). I found nothing that could produce more life like realism and spaciousness of instruments other than the wave music systems of bose(not even the other bose systems using other technology). The other speakers and systems had punchier base or better treble but could not produce the spaciousness and realism that the wave could. If you like rock or pop or want a home theatre system or like listening to synthethic instruments. I don’t think you will like this as much as there are better systems that produce base or treble better(althought the wave does quite a good job).

I cannot rate this home audio system highly enough. It maybe small and compact but the sound is brilliant. It somes with an example cd, take the time to sit down and listen to it – even at the volume level it says – and you will be amazed. There are no extra speakers, its all built in and the ariel for the radio is in the power cord so no cables or wires on view.

Ok, i’ve always thought bose were over-priced & apple-like in their monoply dealings, but buying this one just changed my mindset completely. Just how can you get such bass & brilliance out of this sized machine?. My whole life has been music, this let’s me live it to the max.

Small it maybe but this system is excellent add the multi cd changer and you have a excellent system plays mp3 as well hours of ex music sound is superb build quialty is excellent buy one i did.

Bose WAVE Music System Home Audio System : Great music system – when it works. I purchased this bose wave system to replace my ageing bose radio / with a separate cd player, plugged into auxiliary. I’m familiar with bose’s high quality sound. When i unpackaged the used bose wave music system, my first thoughts were that it looked to be in the “very good condition” described by the seller. In fact, when i put on my first cd, my favourable impressions were reinforced. Good base, crystal clear sound, and a wide dynamic range, with a powerful volume that belies the unit’s compact size. Then 10-15 minutes into the cd, it stopped playing, and restarting, or skipping tracks, had no effect. I referred to bose’s own troubleshooting website for advice, and acted on it. The cd reader seems to have failed. It refused to play every subsequent cd i loaded. I emailed the seller who, to be fair, was quick to reply, and very apologetic. The seller had no problem with me arranging to return the music system, which i did the next day. On the third day, amazon informed me that my refund was on its way.

It’s still working fine & is still confounding people who listen to it but can’t believe the sound isn’t being reinforced by a hidden bass woofer somewherefor more years than i care to admit, i was the archetypal british hi-fi nut. If it didn’t need a mortgage to pay for it, & wouldn’t fit into the room without having to kick granny out, then it wasn’t proper hi-fi. Well, that was fine until i downsized my house & needed to pacify the new neighbours with more ‘realistic’ listening levels. So, out went the snobby (expensive) hi-fi & in came the bose. Now i have to admit, it isn’t going to please everyone: i could criticise the bass for being a bit ‘plummy’, or the top registers for being strident, but that just misses the whole point of this system. It is designed to produce pleasing sounds from a small box that is unobtrusive (to say the least). Bose use what they call a waveguide to produce the bass: this is basically a tunnel that winds its way around the inside of the small case. It gives the bass frequencies the length they need to be realistic, & does a reasonable job, too.

Brilliant – small on the outside – massive on sound. . For anyone who’s not heard the bose wave music system and doesn’t believe all the hype in the glossy full page adverts of such publications as the radio times and innumerable colour supplements i suggest they hear one and then they will become believers. I wasn’t sure , four years ago, when i spent £500 on what was essentially a small clock-radio, when it arrived i was a bit dubious when i saw the size of the unit but when i plugged it in and tried their demonstration cd i was blown away, the depth of sound from full bass to sparkling treble was truly astounding and the output is enough for any normal room up to very loud listening levels what’s more it doesn’t seem to distort at all when on very loudly. After four years use, on the radio and using cd (it’ll play most formats including mp3s) i still wonder at how such a full sound can emanate from such a small unit. If you only have one music maker in your house you won’t be disappointed with it at all, it will surprise all who hear it from novices to hi-fi buffs alike. (and the fm reception is perfect). It may seem expensive but it’s worth it especially when you compare it to conventional systems that can’t match the audio performance and are much bulkier and inconvenient to place in a room environment.
