B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen PLAY Beolit 12 Airplay – Portable Wireless Music System – Easy to setup, Fantastic sound, brilliant build quality!!!

I bought this and it ended up being a faulty unit. Just simply would not connect to my network so i had to send back. It did work with via the jack cable and i found the sound on par with the much cheaper sonos 1 i bought previously.

This really is an excellent portable player. I wanted a portable music system for my iphone and ipod nano, and this really is the business. The fact that it is airplay as well is an added bonus. I do agree with other reviews that mention it does take a long time to connect to the internet whether wired or wireless, but maybe that will be addressed in a future update. One thing to note, you do need a headphone jack to play the radio with the ipod nano (7th gen).

Good design, easy setup, great sound. . First impressions on getting this out of the box were that it looked good, with an interesting design. I was concerned about how it would look as the one i ordered was called ‘blue’, but the overall colour of the case was grey with the blue being behind the mesh/holes. Overall it looks good, and did not look out of place in any room i tried it in. Next up is the setup of the device. As it was airplay enabled i decided to set it up using the app that is available. This proved to be very easy and straightforward, in less than five minutes i had it setup on my wifi network with a suitable device name. The process was very clear and easy to follow. My only criticism would be that the quick start guide does not describe the buttons and led colours in detail, and for each meaning you have read all sections of the guide, i expected a table listing led’s and what the colours mean. But, that’s a small point as set up was so easy. Here are the specifications for the B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen PLAY Beolit 12 Airplay – Portable Wireless Music System:

  • Portable music system that plays music wirelessly from iPod, iPhone, iPad or Mac
  • Wired performance from any other smartphone or PC
  • Simplicity and sophisticaion in design: only four buttons
  • Light and portable: only 2.8 kg

Some difficulty setting up the wifi. . Otherwise amazing sound and convenience of use. Using the music on my i phone playing through this beolite 12.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • A beautiful warm and detailed sound
  • Good design, easy setup, great sound.
  • Easy to setup, Fantastic sound, brilliant build quality!!!

After doing lots of research initially aimed at getting the best bluetooth portable speaker my decision finally came down to this non bluetooth player. I had already had a bitter experience with airplay letting down the fabulous performance of the b&w a7 so i was somewhat sceptical but seeing as the beolit 12 is a portable player a direct connection from iphone to player would get around any further downfalls with airplay. It is first important to download the b&o setup app and follow the page which deals with updating the software (ethernet cable required – not supplied). Follow the instructions to the letter and connection to your network will be easy and straightforward. Note that airplay will not work over the faster 802. 11n protocol so make sure your router is also broadcasting the b and g variants (log in to your router settings to check). The quality of sound is really sweet, refined and detailed and for a box of this size has a pleasing sound stage. The bass is well handled without being overbearing (a problem all too common with current trends). At its original introductory price of £599 the unit was ridiculously overpriced but now at around the £350 mark its well balanced performance, build quality, design and portability means that the play beolit 12 can be heartily recommended.

The sound quality and ease of use should be better. . For the price and brand name, the sound quality and ease of use should be better.

Awesomely looking and sounding airplay device. Bought this beolit after a lot of worries about its performance, after reading the comments. First, the product seems solid and very well built, in addition to a great look. Sound quality is one of the best i would say, nice full sound, bassy & loud enough to fill up the room with sound. The wireless streaming its one of its problems, yet, what i found is that using a proper router the problem goes away. Try upgrading your router, (i. For the apple geeks ->airport express) and the difference is huge. Using a normal sky (uk) router, there are drop outs of 2-3 seconds randomly, i would say 0-5 times in a day, which seems traffic-related. The more devices i run, the most likely is that my iphone->beolit 12 signal is getting disrupted.

00 for mine and i think it has a fantastic sound the bass is amazing and i have no. I don’t understand why people are negative about this speaker i paid £389. 00 for mine and i think it has a fantastic sound the bass is amazing and i have no problem with the wireless set up in my flat and when i take it out with me i use the usb or jack plug to play music. The level of sound you get is well rounded and though there is no true stereo the speakers used and the technology give this a high quality sound. Go to a department store and demo it if you want to compare it i researched this for months before buying comparing it’s sound with arcam, samsung, several valve style units but none of them came up to scratch i heartily recommend this as a top buy. Once you set it up that’s it.

A beautiful warm and detailed sound. This unit, gives exactly the warm beautiful sound i have been looking for in an iphone speaker. I love listening to 50/60s vocal type jazz and own a large valve amplifier and speakers. I love the warmth and detailed vocals and rich sound that the valve equipment gives. The beolit gives that same rich sound that i love so much, i have not found this in any of the cheaper iphone speakers/docks, some of which sound way to bright. I am not interested in the airplay function, as i plug my iphone/ipad directly in and it charges at the same time. Also the direct connection sounds slightly better (this is the same for the other airplay units i have tried). I can tell you though, that if the airplay function is important to you, the set up on this unit and the connection times are the pits. The set up is long winded, the software updates fail repeatedly and the unit connection to the wifi is slow on start up. That said, airplay is not important to me and the sound is quality is incredible for such a small unit.

Great product with excellent sound.

invoxia Smart Portable Speaker : Fantastic Family Phone and Great Speaker

Well built, great sounding but with a few too many niggles to recommend. The triby is a product with a potentially nice usp and its heart in the right place; essentially it wants to be the communication and media hub for your kitchen. It certainly looks the part, a small satisfyingly weighty and well built unit with just a handful of rubbarised buttons. Set up is a sintch and with a nice simple 10 stage walk through via the ios app (no android support at present) and we are up and running. There are a load of positives; sound quality is great for such a small unit and surprisingly loud. Eq is aimed at spoken word though so if you listen to talk radio stations you will be very happy, it’s competent at music but there’s no capacity to alter bass and treble so you are stuck with the sound out of the box. The magnetised rear is superb and it will securely attach to fridges and extraction fans. It also has a pretty good battery life. There are unfortunately plenty of problems and these may be resolved with firmware updates, but some of which won’t be.

A super family oriented gadget. Triby is a lovely family oriented product: replacing the home telephone, connecting to music or radio, messaging – everyone can do it. A great gadget for parents looking to contact the kids without having the need for mobile phones.

Doesn’t quite deliver on promises – nothing stands out. In theory this sounds like a good product. On paper it combines a number of useful functions – connected message board, hands free internet calls, integration with smart phones, radio, streamed music via spotify, all in a funky design meant to be used in the kitchen. But when you pitch a product that is aimed at combining features offered in other products into one, you have to carry off all of these combined features to a satisfactory standard. In practice, there are several flaws and constraints with the device that render it less appealing and usable than you would ideally want. The design, as another reviwer commented on, feels a bit from the toys r us design school. It’s supposed to look fun in the kitchen but at this price point i’m not sure it will appeal to its intended audience, who i am sure want something stylish and cool but that looks better than a mattell toy. In practice the functionality promises are not delivered – no android or windows phone support at the time of writing the review. Only providing support for the premium version of spotify. The radio fails to work for myself and other reviewers.

Found it extremely useful, both to use for internet radio and for. I bought this for our holiday rental and have been trying it out at home first. Found it extremely useful, both to use for internet radio and for its contact buttons. I have also used it as a speaker (through bluetooth) for calls (normal and skype) made through my mobile. The visual message facility is cute too.

Fantastic family phone and great speaker. I saw the other reviews and i wanted to give a more “family” oriented review for this device. I bought the triby because i wanted to have more interaction with my young children (aged 4 and 6). Since we added this to the kitchen, it has become a huge attraction to them. The children love making drawings and send these to the device. They also love to call me (their father) or their mother using the very simple buttons. For example, they can call me when i am not at home for dinner and i can participate while they are sitting at the table. I can hear everyone perfectly, even though the device is some 2 meters away from them. I like it because it is not another “screen”, yes my children could also reach me using an iphone or an ipad but we don’t want them to use these devices too much. Triby is just perfect for improving family communication and at the same time decreasing exposure to more screens.

5* if you have kids and think they are too young for a phone this is for you. **update**had this for a while now and still use it every day now even more that it got an update and now has amazon’s alexa built in.

This must have been a great idea. When they brought it up at the board meeting. The cons:# the description continually mentions your ‘smartphone’. What they actually mean is iphone as android doesn’t work. How they can release this without android support is amazing. Hence lots of the features do not work. # i have an ipad so downloaded the app to that. Got it up and running but of course the phone function does not work. # the radio stations don’t work [well not for me. # the design, which i assume is very hip, is more early learning centre although i realise this will be fine for little people. The plastic coloured ‘bumper’ around the outside is not a tight fit so looks a bit cheap. ]

An exciting innovative multi-function messaging and entertainment system for your kitchen, but with some problems. Triby is an innovative device that fills a number of roles. It is an internet and fm radio, a music player, a bluetooth speaker, a message board and an internet telephone. It provides a hub for you to organise your family communications, allowing you to send messages to your children even if they don’t have a smartphone. It does some things well, but i’ve had trouble with others, and you need to be aware of the device’s limitations. For starters, you can only use triby if you download an app for your smartphone – and at the moment you can only get that app for iphones and ipads from the apple app store. If you have an android or windows phone, triby won’t work. And if you want to stream music from the internet, you need spotify premium: none of the other music services work with it, and you can’t play music from a home nas or computer using wi-fi. More problems: the fm radio doesn’t work at all for me. You can’t search for a station, you need to know the frequency.

ION Audio Road Rocker | Portable tooth Speaker – I LIKE IT VERY MUCH

Rocker is fantastic but it smelt of cigarettes.

I purchased the irr a while ago, i am a dj and like to jam with apps via my ipad, i have noticed some latency issues with the bluetooth, out of sync with bpms but i am not sure if this is an ipad problem or an irr problem. I plugged my guitar into the front mic input jack, to use it as a small amp, but the metal part has come loose already. Also, the docking charger hasn’t worked from day one, which was pretty disappointing. The sound distorts, ‘fluffs’ and crackles at high volume. It has v good bass, boomy, an extra treble knob wouldn’t go amiss. The bluetooth works about 99% of the time. The battery is very good, it lasts a very long time. Good for basic music listening. If your a budding musician, get something of better quality.

Good but can’t go over half way speaker distorts. Here are the specifications for the ION Audio Road Rocker | Portable tooth Speaker:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • Stream music wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone or other Bluetooth-enabled devices
  • Ultra-compact, high-quality full range speaker with port for extra bass
  • Built-in rechargeable battery for up to 8 hours of use
  • USB port for charging mobile phones, tablets and other mobile devices
  • 1/4 and 1/8 inch input for microphones, instruments or non-Bluetooth music players

Christmas present and the recipient was blown away. Not only can he use his iphone and ipad but mp3 player too.

The battery itself is probably worth the most. I’ve listened to it for 5 days now without charging. My only issue is, the main thing. The sound, the sound starts off brilliant and gets quite loud but, i’d say anything over 60% on volume is pointless as this just distorts. But a good product if you want a quiet jam. Oh also first one i ordered didn’t work on the usb charger.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Sound quality was good, it was exactly what we wanted
  • Brilliant little unit – but keep it to yourself!
  • The road Rocker R0CKS

Christmas present and the recipient was blown away. Not only can he use his iphone and ipad but mp3 player too.

Sound quality was good, it was exactly what we wanted. Very long lasting battery life we had it on all afternoon and well into the night and it still had plenty of life. Sound quality was good, it was exactly what we wanted. It is really east to use even for a couple of thecnophobes like us. It was smaller than we expected but that’s a plus because it makes it easy to store and you can use it on a work top.

Product as described – well worth the money.

It just touches on having a bit of beef to it – however sound quality does break down depending on which signals you put in- microphone and wireless microphone seem to work fine. I would still only class it as a room device or small area.

Brilliant little unit – but keep it to yourself. I have used this unit for lectures and presentations with great success. It is quite capable of filling an average sized village hall and is amazingly self contained and portable. The battery seems to last forever and it can be set up and in use with ease. On one occasion two men had grappled unsuccessfully with a major multi speaker pa system and the road rocker was simply brought in, switched on, mic connected and up and running in about 60 seconds. But please don’t take it out to all those wonderful picnic and other public spots shown on their adverts. Not everyone wants to hear your choice of music.

I’ve searched the web a lot to find a speaker that covers evrything this one does: i. Rechargeable; bluetooth; dock charger; lightweight; not silly money. A friend has the logitech version but doesn’t have the dock charger (this is a usb cable slot rather than a direct to your i-product). I loved the look of this one and it seems robust. I wasn’t expecting an awesome sound from it just enough to amplify music or videos from my i-phone/i-pad. The sound at full volume for some music is a little disappointing as the speaker can’t always cope with the bass but overall it does what i wanted it to.

Good but can’t go over half way speaker distorts.

Product as described – well worth the money.

A super family oriented gadget. Triby is a lovely family oriented product: replacing the home telephone, connecting to music or radio, messaging – everyone can do it. A great gadget for parents looking to contact the kids without having the need for mobile phones.

Smart Portable Speaker with screen compatible with Amazon Alexa, Green : An exciting innovative multi-function messaging and entertainment system for your kitchen, but with some problems.

House of Marley Riddim BT – Portable tooth Speaker – Mid range speaker

Disappointing but nicely made. . This speaker looks great, it’s very well made and nicely designed, it’s made from bamboo with a soft cork base. Now to the most important bit. What does it sound like, well that is a sore point with me if your used to hearing hi quality sound from good equipment then this speaker is not for you, firstly the bass is very easily over driven even at half volume and secondly the overall sound is not really that clean, turn it up and things get very messy, detail completely disappears into a mush, i tested it with a wav rip of dark side of the moon on my phone and the heartbeat at the beginning just resulted in a loud popping noise from the speakers and on time the speaker seems to lose any drive that this track has an worthy systems , yes it will fill a room but at a very big compromise. This speaker utilises a2dp technology this supposedly improves audio quality via blue tooth. Connection to this speaker is easy, simple blue tooth connectivity. The speaker has an aux input with a 3. 5mm socket but is not supplied with a lead. The speaker is charges via a usb socket. There is also a removable strap that annoyingly covers the charging/aux sockets, i can see potential problems here with sockets and plugs being stressed when you are trying to charge the speaker when the strap is in place. I have another bluetooth speaker that uses the passive radiator technology and it sounds so much better than this house of marley effort even at high volume , i don’t know if the speakers have not been matched to the on-board amplifier but something is a miss. This speaker also acts as a speaker phone with a built in microphonenice design but you buy a speaker for it’s sound quality not it’s looks.

I will put a few pointers on use here, as the included instructions are no more than a few icons and (2 year) warranty information. The buttons + and – control the volume, holding them down for a couple of seconds skips tracks back and forward. The bluetooth button doubles as play/pause when music is playing; and receive/end when a call comes in. Pairing via bluetooth is easy and the speaker was found immediately by our phones and tablets after turning on. To access the charging port you pull the leather handle off on the underside – it is held on by a magnet. Now in use, the speaker provides much louder sound than i was expecting, and a reasonable level of bass for a small speaker. I personally found the quality a little muddy and lacking some definition in mid-range, but tinkering with the equaliser i was able to find an acceptable profile, and if you’re not an audiophile i think you’ll find it perfectly acceptable. The item is light enough to be portable in a bag, but heavy enough to feel well made. Here are the specifications for the House of Marley Riddim BT – Portable tooth Speaker:

  • Uses Bluetooth 4.0, A2DP Audio
  • Enhanced DSP Voice Prompt
  • 2 x 8W 1.5″ full range active drivers
  • 2 x passive bass radiator – 10h play time
  • Integrated Mic for use as a speakerphone

From the outset, the packaging looks great and when you get inside the speaker has a real look of quality about it. It is simple and understated, with a nice wood finish on the ends and a cork base. There’s also a useful strap for carrying and the usb socket is hidden in discreetly out of the way. Set up is very easy – just turn it on, then press the bluetooth button to pair with a device. After that it plays whatever’s on your device at a high quality and it can go quite loud for such a small package. It’s small size means it can be used for travelling, but it’s also perfect for use at home. Overall, a very high-quality product that i highly recommend.

Understated design with fantastic sound quality. The speaker is super easy to set up and use, paired within seconds to my iphone, fully set up and playing music within a minute of taking it out of the box. (although you should probably charge it first; i was too excited and wanted to see how it worked), it has an excellent sound quality, crisp and clear (maximum volume is very very loud and still retains the bass. Possibly not a good plan to blast it on full volume for extended periods if you live in a flat and actually like your neighbours) and simple sleek design that’s really easy to use and nice rounded edges. The main downside i can think of would be that the base is made of cork and you’d have to be really careful that whatever surface you put it into is completely dry, but liquids generally don’t tend to mix with electronics at the best of times, so i guess this one is just common sense. The design is simple and understated and amazing that such a little speaker can make so much good quality noise with a good full bass that doesn’t have a tinny quality on heavy beats that is common with cheaper devices and the handle at the top makes it easy to move around and carry and small enough to store easily. The charging space is located subtly behind the leather strap at the side, which initially made me wonder how on earth you’re supposed to charge it when the strap is in the way, but the strap is attached on that side with a strong little magnet that detaches in such a fashion that you can still use the handle whilst plugged into a cable. The micro usb charger and aux port are sleekly hidden by a rubber top which fits perfectly into the speaker although you might find it a bit fiddly to open initially if you bite your nails as it has a fingernail groove to enable access. Also, although it comes with a nice quality usb cable, it doesn’t actually come with a plug in the box so you’ll have to find your own. (easy enough to use a phone plug though) i’m guessing this is to cut down on packaging size and keep the box as compact as possible. The speaker also talks to you in a slightly strange female american(?) accent and will briefly pause the music to warn you when the battery is low and when the speaker is plugged in it says ‘charging’ and a simple red light appears at the top and then music resumes. Will also tell you when it is able to be paired. This is a lovely little compact gadget, modern and sleek that i would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Great look and feel but average sound quality
  • Disappointing but nicely made.
  • Extremely good quality speaker with a real sound punch!

Another great product from hom. This is really impressive for its size. Really nice build quality and little touches like the braided usb cable and the magnetic strap to allow access to the charging port give this product a high end feel despite the modest price. It feels solid and has some weight to it, which is good. The sound is very good, not so much for bass, which it does have balanced amounts of, but if heavy bass is your thing, this box might not be for you. The mids and highs are lovely and clear and a pleasure to listen too. There is plenty of volume too. Charging is via usb, but they don’t supply a ‘charging plug’, which is fair enough at this price. I often listen to lbc talk radio and i can open the lbc app and have the radio playing through the hom box while i’m working in the garden. The bluetooth is very stable, no drop outs and easy to pair.

I think speakers will be different for different people depending on the equipment they are used too. For example if you are coming from a high priced hifi system like pioneer or technics then this will sound awful. If you just want to play music off your phone then this is a considerable upgrade. Its very basic made, just bamboo and cork. I dont like the design personally i think its horrible, i despise the cork and think it makes it look tacky. I think its best served to youngsters who want to chuck it in a bag and take it with them to the park or the beach and they just want to sit and listen to their music. I have personally found that if i turn it up too loud, its very crackly and there is so much vibration that it distorts the sound. I have got a small £30 speaker that has much better sound quality and is louder. I discovered that classical music is the biggest winner on this, it comes through clear and sharp and sounds lovely, anything with a heavy drum beat and you will need to drop the sound to stop it rattling.

Extremely good quality speaker with a real sound punch. This is a lovely little speaker. We really love the funky look to it, its small and compact but hits a real punch. Once we read over the instructions we plugged it in to chargeit up but it does take a 3. I paired it to my ipad and i had music and audio books straight away. Its volume is good and the sound we found to be a good tone. We have placed ours in the conservatory for listening to music in the garden. . This is a surprisingly loud speaker for its size and the music sure does carry. I can’t think of a negative thing to say about this.

Great look and feel but average sound quality. I’ve reviewed a few bluetooth speakers but nothing built like this riddim signature from house of marley. The ends are bamboo, the base is cork, there is a leather handle and the speaker cover feels like a hessian material. There are four stylised plastic buttons on top for bluetooth, volume and power, in the shape of the four symbols, and a plastic house of marley badge on the front. The leather handle is stamped marley. A coloured led shines through the material at the top to show charging, bluetooth pairing etc. Altogether it makes for quite a pleasing visual and tactile experience. I wonder how durable it would be, in particular the cork base which looks a bit vulnerable. I would expect there to be a more solid frame behind it. There’s a small quality-control issue with the leather handle not being stamped correctly with the lettering but that’s a very minor niggle.

In2uit Filo Wireless tooth Stereo Speaker System : Easy to use, great sound, looks amazing!

Looks sexy and produces great sound. The filo wireless speaker looks sexy, thin and light, it is very easy to carry around if you want to (transport) and it would compliment any lounge design very nicely with variety of colours available also. The sound quality is surprisingly good, with good sound throughout the range. The bass and treble sounds great with no crackling or interference over bluetooth connectivity. The battery life is also as expected and you can also connect via aux input on the back. The only thing lacking if controls on the device itself but that would defeat the simplistic and clean looks.

A first look inside the box of the filo speaker on arrival from amazon. I give a bit of an overview on the pack contents, and test the audio quality through dropping a couple of tracks. Recorded using the webcam on my macbook pro. This was all done in one take, so apologies for any mistakes and random cuts. tracks featured from jamiroquai dynamite and netsky.

Easy to use, great sound, looks amazing. Having recently decorated my lounge, i was looking for a speaker solution that would compliment the new decor. That’s when i found the filo from in2uit. According to the blurb, it’s a world first – a new style of speaker that works usuing electrostatz technology. (for those of you out there who are not a tekkie, which i am not, it basically means that the speaker is made up of 2 plates which vibrate rapidly to create a sound). The benefits of using electrostatz technology means that no magnets, mechanical parts or large casing is required as it would be in a standard speaker. This is why the filo is able to be so slim and astetically pleasing. The sleek design of the filo speaker is almost representative of a peice of art, rather than a practicle and functional peice of technology, perfect for the modern home (it comes in 3 different colours grey, red or blue). With it’s unique and subtle curl design, the filo can stand alone on a table top or sideboard by using the flip stand attached to the back. However, it can also be wall mounted by utilising the mounting bracket and screws that come in the pack.

IN2UIT Filo Wireless Bluetooth Stereo Speaker System for iPhone/iPod/MP3 Player/Android Devices – Blue : Simplistic design & state-of-the-art technology in perfect harmony. Life’s all about being in the right place at the right time, right?. A friend of mine was recently upgrading her sound system at home and had decided to part with her in2uit filo speaker. All i can say is her loss was most certainly my gain. I graciously accepted her “hand me down”, not knowing just how lucky i was. In the meantime, i have had the opportunity to test drive the filo and have to say i am really impressed with both the design and sound quality. Design:unlike most speakers of this size, the filo is wonderfully elegant. Thanks to its stunning design it looks good in just about any room. I have the grey speaker, but there are other, more funky colours available if you’re looking for something a little different. Technology:in case you are wondering, as i did, how a speaker so slim can produce a decent sound, there is a simple explanation.

Zens Wireless Apple Watch Size High Capacity External Power Bank Battery Pack Capacity : and not only do I love it but also so does all of my work

I bought this item as i have a nexus 7 which has wireless charging and am waiting for the coil to enable me to wirelessly charge my s4 active. After ordering the item i re-read all the dismal reviews about it not charging when the tablet/phone has a case and expected the worse, but i have found that it does work. The only issue is that it does need to be absolutely precisely positioned to start charging, but yes, it does work.

Great product and worked immediately. Great quality and easy to use. Would recommend the product and buy it again when i ll have a bigger home.

I recently purchased this, and am very happy with the product. I own two phones – both nokia lumia 920s. I have one for personal use, and a second provided to me by my employer for business use. Using this double-charger, i’m now able to charge both phones simultaneously through one power connection, freeing up a power socket for other usesi find that the charger has no problem charging both phones at the same time, and charging times are not too much higher than with a regular power connection. Typically, i charge both phones overnight whilst sleeping, but even when i put my phones down during the day if i need a top up, i find i don’t have to wait too long to inject a decent amount of extra charge into the handsets. The phones do get a little warm when charging, but from talking to friends who’ve used other wireless charging solutions, this is common to all wireless charging systems, and is not specific to either this particular charging mat, or my nokia handset. The product is well built, has a nice look to it, and i appreciate the blue leds to give an extra visual cue that the charging is working. There also seems to be a large enough ‘landing area’ to put my handsets down into as well, thus making it very convenient to use – just ‘put your phone down’, and it’s charging. Finally, the rear usb port on the back of the charging mat is a nice touch, and allows me to additionally charge non-wireless devices such as a portable battery charger or other phones that friends might want to charge up.

Great product, great design. . Excellent product, so pleased with my purchase that i bought a second one.

And not only do i love it but also so does all of my work. I use this daily as my charging dock at work, and not only do i love it but also so does all of my work mates, when i return to my desk i usually fine a device or 2 sitting there charging :-).

I am using it daily and never had a problem with it. My nexus 4 and nexus 5 have no compatibility problem. It’s not heating up when i charge my phones.

We have the nexus 4 and it works excellent. The phone sits on the charger level, charges fast and silently. There are no noises associated with it. The phone gets a little warm on the back as its charging, but this is normal with some smart phones. It’s very nice to pick it up on the way out and putting it down when i get home.

Used to charge my phone and my partners phone over night was very slow to charge and very nosy and the bright led lit up the whole room.

The zens make a lot of sense. Bought this for my lumia 950. Tried the new ms qi charger (dt-904) first, but at twice the price that did not even include a mains adapter and charged very slowly with a generic usb mains adapter. The zens however is a completely different story – this is what you’ld expect from a quality product. This charging pad comes in a nice box, it does include a mains adapter and the build quality is very good. The pad is small and not slippery at all so your phone will stay exactly on the spot where you put it. Charging is fast, about 25% per hour on my lumia 950 (about 750mah/hour). As for bedside usage: the green light is dim enough not to disturb in a dark bedroom and just bright enough so that you can find your phone at night if you feel the need to pick it up. I have found just one negative with this charger: the ferrite on the power lead. It’s too close to the (tiny) plug which goes into the charger and is much thicker than the charging pad itsself.

Used to charge my phone and my partners phone over night was very slow to charge and very nosy and the bright led lit up the whole room.

This charging pad is charging two nexus 5 handsets and a nexus 7 (2012) model via a usb cable that plugs into the back. The wireless charging is brilliant on a naked handset, tried on a nexus 4 also. With a hard skin it works also. At the moment i am using a leather-style wallet case and it is a lot more difficult to align the coils for charging but it works.

Charges nicely, but there’s a slight buzzing when it’s on. Won’t bother the majority of people, but if you’re the type of person who can hear the static buzz generated by plasma tvs, it might irritate you.

Love it as now the wife gets to charge her. Love it as now the wife gets to charge her phone on the bedside cabinet and not just me, fantastic bit of kit.

This was bought as a gift for someone, they find it very good and does the job required of it.

Item was as described and arrived ahead of schedule. Item very well packed thus ensuring no damage in transsit. Instructions a little bereft of detail, from my point of view it would have been handy to know for instance if other speakers could be attached (me not being a tech buff).

It came in well under 24 hours. It is fine for us, but we are not hi fi people. Vinyls are a bit on the quiet side, but ok. It has connections for blue tooth and mp3. But haven’t tested this as i don’t know what it means. Radio is a bit limited in what you can get, and, of course, it’s not dab.

Fantastic music system, very high quality sound especially when paired with the recommended sub woofer. Very good value, although the system feels and looks a little plastic, this to me is of no relevance to the main purpose of the system. Haven’t had the chance to use all the features yet, but for bluetooth, vinyls, tapes, and cd playback i can’t complain, when you consider the next comparable device to this will probably cost you twice as much, i can do nothing but recommend this product. Whilst the speakers may appear small they’re of surprisingly good quality, originally i had planned to use my sony speakers with the system instead, but after trying the accompanying speakers decided there was no need; the speakers are plenty to fill a medium sized room.

Ideal with head -phones t v m.

I own every format of music known to man so this is perfect for me. I own every format of music known to man so this is perfect for me. I haven’t used all the functions as yet but given that the instruction manual is so straight forward i imagine i’ll have no problem with any of them. So much versatility in such a compact, beautifully made piece of kit and at a fraction of the price of the unit that i was originally looking at – thank you so much.

Finally we have taken this out of its box and set it up – been nearly a year but no where to put it before. The sound is fantastic and we have tried out each of the three functions we bought it for. Cds lovely and clear; cassettes the same and it is so good to be able to hear our old records again, a bit old and scratchy in places but with some being really ancient it is a miracle they still play and so well, some are 78rpm and this is the first time we have had all three speeds very, very, happy with every function.

Am extremely pleased with this purchase. Am extremely pleased with this purchase. Does exactly what i hoped for. Received as and when stated so good experience all round.

One of these that i have and they are wonderful. . This is the third one of these that i have and they are wonderful.

Incredible sound with beautiful looks and finish.

Really has been a very good experience in terms of portable sound, i am very satisfied with the purchase, i recommend 100%.

Design is very nice and quality and details are also very good. Good choice if you like quality audio with a nice design piece.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Most amazing BT speaker I’ve ever listened to
  • This is my first bluetooth speaker and it’s great. I have heard many others as my son
  • Mobile HighEnd-Sound, excellent craftmanship.

Excellent high-definition speaker. While it has some difficulty connecting bluetooth, once it does the signal is clear and stable. A great purchase, plus it has a very elegant appearance.

Most amazing bt speaker i’ve ever listened to. I ordered the dali katch first, and ended up being very disappointed by both the lack of bass and the level of distortion above mid-volume. So disappointed that i sent it back straight away and bought the oslo instead. I can’t believe the difference between the two. The oslo is just better at everything except battery. The sound is clear, balanced and yet the speaker is able to play deep bass with almost no distortion. The build quality is wonderful (aluminium frame) and the size is reasonably small. The handle is neat and functional. I didn’t encounter bluetooth issues or problems with the app, but will follow up if my opinion changes.

I have heard many others as my son has at least half a dozen and many were good. I liked the bose ones, and found them amazing for their size, if a bit bass heavy. I didn’t like the unbalanced sound of the b&0 play beolit 15, which is roughly the same price and size as the vifa oslo. I don’t need it to be too portable as i use it around the house. I don’t need it to be too loud, but want a balanced sound with clear mid ranges. The vifa oslo fits this as well as i had hoped. Music is balanced, with firm bass, clear and forward mid range and silky trebles. It sounds amazing when turned up, which i don’t do very often. The battery life is okay, but not outstanding. It looks fine, if a bit like a lunch box. I’ve had it for over 3 months, used it every day and have not regretted my purchase at any time.

Works great with my iphone looks fantastic too.
