Roberts Duet 2 – FM/DAB Visually impaired : She is able to see both the display and the dials easily and because of the size of the controls can

Purchased this dab radio for my mother who is dropping her sight. The radio is light-weight and the buttons very clear to see and touch. I preset the 6 stations prior to giving it to her so that all she experienced to do is change it on and decide on a station.

She is able to see both the display and the dials easily and because of the size of the controls can. I bought this for my elderly mother who only has sight in one eye and severe arthritis in her hands. She is able to see both the display and the dials easily and because of the size of the controls can operate them with ease.

A radio for luddites and other folks who might be bodily challenged. Purchased for my husband or wife who suffers from ms and has difficulties with manipulating items with her arms (not her eyes). The drive button technique was a cinch to established up, and is best for her utilization. Study the guidance, which are incredibly simple. Jean was working with and understanding it in 15 minutes of opening the box. All her favourite plans now accessible at the press of a button. Yes, it was highly-priced, but i have bought three other radios formerly that i have to tune in each individual time she would like a different system. I wish i had recognised about this established sooner. Super radio, wonderful reception, significantly greater than my other roberts which hardly picks up any dab stations.

Roberts radio for the visually impaired. Fantastic excellent and create but unsure why it has this kind of a significant price tag for what is proficiently a electronic radio.

A fantastic radio for persons with sight challenges.

Duet 2 – FM/DAB Visually impaired : If you’re looking for a present for someone over 60 with sight problems then this radio is a good solution. It gets radio 4 extra (old favourites from the 1950’s & 60s’ like jimmy clitheroe, round the horne and i’m sorry i’ll read that again) and unlike most dab radios, has easy to manage dials and buttons.

I ‘inherited’ this radio from a visually impaired relative. My sight is great but my hearing seems to getting to be really selective. I love listening to the radio but i will need a lot of treble these days – and other radios i possess have barely any tone adjustment – this radio has and i totally love it. The reception is also quite superior in fact so i would recommend it for the explanations outlined.

Very good build quality, nice look and great sound quality (i can assess fm only). Controls are well dimensioned and placed – i have bought this radio for my visually impaired mum (armd) and this is the first receiver she can operate without problems. Of course, the price is high, but in my case it was worth buying it.

Excellent for visually impaired mother.

This radio is recommended by the rnib for people with poor sight. Bought for my dad who has very poor sight and he now needs press only one button at a time to select stations. Very solidly built and a very good sound quality, very expensive for a radio but one suspects you get what you pay for. But for the price would have given it five stars.

If you are hunting for a current for an individual about sixty with sight troubles then this radio is a very good solution. It gets radio 4 more (previous favourites from the 1950’s & 60s’ like jimmy clitheroe, round the horne and i am sorry i am going to go through that yet again) and compared with most dab radios, has simple to control dials and buttons.

Wonderful for aged gent who loses channels. Only downside is he moves it and the cable falls out.

Purchased this for my visually impaired father, on the foundation of a favourable which journal evaluation. It is definitely fantastic, if a wee bit expensive. The tuning knob is the major knob on the facet and he generally errors it for the quantity, and retunes the radio by incident. Also, if you push and hold the preset channels, it retunes to the station playing, so even my mum has fallen into this lure. However, a handsome wanting radio.
