  • A Must Buy Device

I purchased this one directly from the skulpt website last year before they were selling on amazon. The only time i’ve had different readings is if you scan even a centimetre or two away from where you performed the previous scan. It’s always reliable in that i when i see improvements in the mirror and do a scan the skulpt backs it up. It’s a great motivation tool too. The only annoyance for me is when trying to scan the muscle groups on your back. It’s very awkward to do and much better if you have some assistance. Since i’ve been back on the weights the past few months it’s certainly great to see the improvements logged and if i ever stop and start again i’ll know the levels i can reach from previous scans. Definitely a device i would advise purchasing if you’re serious about keeping in shape and keeping track of your progress too.

Probably the most accurate body fat measuring device available. I compared it to the inbody scan and it was within 0. 5% and inbody / chisel says 14. If you need to track bf% this is the best tool for your money.

Protelx GPO Bermuda Classic Retro Style Turntable : Great talking point, looks great, but not the best sound for the price (Cheapest on the market from Amazon)

Thank you my daughter loves it.

The item arrived much earlier than expected and was packaged excellently. Everything works as expected so happy overall. The only disappointing things were the small mark in the lid and a slow to fall arm. The turntable can also be used as a speaker, and with the purchase of a small bluetooth receiver i now have a great bluetooth speaker alsowould definitely recommend.

GPO Bermuda Classic Retro Style Turntable with MP3, USB, Built-In Speakers and Removable Legs – Blue & Cream

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • Retro styled full size LP turntable with MP3 and USB player
  • Fully automatic return tone arm and built-in dynamic full range stereo speakers
  • Plays 33, 45, 78 speed records and allows you to record directly from LP to USB
  • Optional legs for a freestanding record player
  • Compatible with the GPO Westwood speaker and GPO Westwood Mini amplifier

Good to record records to usb.

Unlucky start but it was all good in the end. Bought as a chrsitmas present,it wasn’t opened until boxing day and we found the turntable wasn’t turning even though all the electrics were working fine. It was initially very dissappointing. However, i did a little investigation and found that the connector block from the power source to the turntable had fallen off, probably in transit and was easily reconnected. The record player is brilliant, works fine, had to use the damper as advised in the instructions and all the records play beautifully.

Not the most sophisticated of sounds, but it does well for the price. The only major downside is how disapointingly unstable the legs are. They fell off about 10 times when lightly touched.

Great volume, added bonus of vinyl to mp3. Lovely sound, great volume, added bonus of vinyl to mp3, looks beautiful.

Great talking point, looks great, but not the best sound for the price (cheapest on the market from amazon). Purchased this as a birthday gift for my mum, so i will try to balance the opinion of a 20 something and a 50 something. Coming from my perspective as a audiophile, the speaker is not the best quality, and struggles to produce a full sound. Acoustic records and jazz come across fairly well, but when listening to ‘highway to hell’ by acdc, the speaker seriously struggled with multiple instruments and bass tones. But i have to admit, it gives a certain sound of authenticity to the records played through it, asif it were 1970. There is an external aux port on the back, which allows you to bypass the tinny front speaker and use another one of your choice. The record player itself is of decent quality, there are areas of ‘rough’ quality on the edges of the fabric but nothing noticable unless up close. The turntable has an automatic arm and 3 speed playback for multiple disk types, and the needle is weighted fairly heavy. Tears were shed when she opened it, and has been playing all her old records non stop which she dug out from the loft.

Fantastic purchase, so very pleased. Fantastic purchase, so very pleased. Sounds great , i love the rich analogue sound of a record being played. Great build quality with the option of being table mounted or using the screw in legs (supplied) to use as floor standing. Would highly recommend this unit.

Bought as a bit of retro furniture as much as for playing my vinyl and very nice it looks too. If you’re an audiophile you’ll notice the sound is tinny as you would expect but not awful at all. There were a few tiny imperfections with the finish but nothing that would force me to moan. All in all a nice looking little thing that will play your records pretty nicely.

Easy to assemble, plays like a dream. Even my dad is asking about one as it reminds him of his old dansette. The unit has really great internal speakers but possibly thinking about getting a matching speaker for when i crack this out at my next party. Honestly was pretty hesitant about buying this product but i’m really glad i did.

Styling wise, this record player is awesome and it plays with a warm (if not hi def) tone just as i had hoped. One big drawback is that there is no search facility within the mp3 function so if you have 1000 songs on a memory stick, and want to play song 1000, you will have quite a wait for it to get there (or you have to press fast forward 999 times).

Logitech Pop Add-On Home Switch Starter Kit- 2 Switches and 1 Bridge – : Clever design, great addition to a bedroom Sonos setup

They do exactly as they say on the tin.

Lacking one critical feature. The logitech pop smart switches lack one critical feature – an led to confirm whether the task executed. For example, if you set a button to turn on the heating via a logitech harmony hub, there’s no immediate feedback – did it execute or did it fail due to a communications or activity error?.

Clever design, great addition to a bedroom sonos setup. Clever design and great addition to a sonos bedroom setup. I can now switch on/off several radio channels on my bedroom sonos in the dark. It is the simplest technology things that are the most effective.

Logitech Pop Add-On Home Switch Starter Kit- 2 Switches and 1 Bridge – White : They do exactly as they say on the tin.

I am reviewing the logitech pop add-on home switch starter kit- 2 switches and 1 bridge – white. Here are my thoughts:^^ what i love about this is how it is everything you need (with the exception of the bulb) to get up and running. Two switches are like light switches without the switch that sticks out, so they are basically flat squares with a raised flat circle design you can stick to the wall. ^^ to operate you press/tap the switch. ^^ quick and easy to set up and assign pops. ^^ anyone can turn the lights on and off, without the need of the app. This is good for guests and works well in a guest bedroom. ^^ this can also be combined with an existing logitech harmony hub-based remote in a similar way that amazon’s alexa works, to trigger lights, locks, blinds, and music. ^^ if you have a sonos playlist this can quickly access the stations even when your mobile is out of range.

Good but drops out too often.

Nice product, but doesn’t work with some wemo products. Nicely produced kit, though i think realistically a bit too expensive (especially as you’ll probably find yourself wanting a few. )works well with lifx, but does not support our wemo bulbs (basically if it requires the wemo hub it won’t work- but things like the wemo switch which are self contained do work). Shame, because i wanted something that would finally bring those two bits of tech together.

Probably ok, but little information found about how to. Probably ok, but little information found about how to use the damned thing. I bought it as a present for my son and he didn’t find much either.

But its not completely clear that you have to have existing smart kit (philips hue. Works well with the app on android, but its not completely clear that you have to have existing smart kit (philips hue, nest, etc) but the switches can go anywhere and can be programmed for 3 combinations of features.

This is a crowded market – i am already using hive and have tried hue, and i found this to be of a muchness with those systems in terms of ease of use. The software was good to set up and logical to use. Perhaps the design and feel of the system was a little bit beige and lacking something to set it apart from the crowd?.

Was semi sceptical about getting the pop due to the price, however i took the plunge and i am very happy 🙂 nice packaging and good build quality. I am using the included buttons for my lifx and hue setup at various points round the house where i/guests may not have there phone or tablet this works really wellonly issue i have is the additional costs of buttons seems really high and is preventing me purchasing more.

PRO-JECT Wallmount IT 1 Equipment Support Shelf – Solid and easy to install.

Relatively easy to assemble and install, although the spike/locknut fittings are a little fiddly, and the screws to hold the wall plate to the shelf support were incredibly stiff. Oiling the threads helped though. Tip: mark up the wall with just the backplate before assembly. Several reviews mention the wooden deck being insecure on the spikes. I found that if you lay the shelf support with spikes in place on the floor, line up the deck then press the deck onto the spikes, the spikes make indentations in the underside of the deck so it no longer slides around. All in all i’m very pleased with the unit.

Solid and easy to install. . The metal bracket is very solid and well made and with basic diy skills installing is pretty easy although the actual base the turntable will stand on is very cheap (level though which is very important). I had to find a side that was completely square for the front and put the slightly damaged veneer to the rear. Having said that once installed on a stone chimney breast i could leap around on our bendy living room floor and the stylus did not skip once and overall it looks pretty good from a distance. I will at some point replace the ‘wooden’ base with something a bit more substantial.

The steel frame is very robust and installation was straightforward. I used screws of the recommended size and the shelf is more than adequately supported. My walls are concrete block so i imagine the story would be a little different if attempting a fix to plaster board. Why were the screws and plugs not supplied, seems mean given the item price. I had some suitable fixings in the house but i’m sure that’s not the case for everyone. The actual top platform is much too flimsy, even the modest weight of a project debut carbon is making it bend slightly. It could easily be twice as thick without causing any problems. The top platform just sits on adjustable spikes. It is very, very easy to move it, even opening the turntable lid is enough to dislodge it if you aren’t careful. Overall not bad, could do better.

Great, easy to install and it works.

This product does what it says on the tin. . Looking at these reviews i am a bit surprised people are disappointed with it. Secondly and very importantly it looks nice and is not obtrusive, especially if you paint the flat back fixing plate the same colour as the wall. Regarding the shelf moving on the spikes, as somebody else has said, if you push down on the shelf and make indentations in it this stops it moving. Re changing the mdf for something more substantial. Light and rigid is well known to give good support so there is probably no point. As for not having fixing screws and wall plugs i am not a bit surprised as there are so many types of wall to fix to. I bought this for my project debut esprit and i am probably going to buy another one for my vpi.

It is a sturdy bracket with the right wall fixing. It is a sturdy bracket with the right wall fixing. I used 4 inch screws to be ion the safe side (as i live in a new build). It is minimal and not obtrusive. My only criticism of it is the mdf plinth that the deck sits on. There is no way of fixing it into place and when using the deck, the slightest amount of pressure or force sees the plinth moving on the isolation spikes. You have to be very careful so as not to knock it off balance.

Protelx GPO Ambassador Stand Alone Turntable : Having problems with the aux sockets. Tried plugging in

The replacement for the first one sent is great, everything i was hoping for. Only downside is bluetooth does not connect automatically and can be temperamental requiring several attempts. If using a bluetooth add on on your stereo equipment avoid cheap products as this turntable has quality sound and needs a good connection. I purchased a chilli plug by layen from amazon which is reliable and a quality item.

Brilliant product and fast delivery. Great product, does everything it says and looks so good. Excellent delivery service and customer care. Would recommend product and company to anyone.

  • Record your vinyl to a USB stick (supplied)

I’m enjoying this i’ve took it out. I’ve took it out and about with me and played vinyls only. . If i had to say anything it would be nicer to have a bit more louder sound.

I bought this after looking for a long, long time for a suitable retro record player. This completely meets the need. The build quality is excellent and looks and feels authentic. I have coupled it with the large matching gpo westwood speaker and play records via the bluetooth link. A couple of things i’ve noticed in the last couple of days. If you have the volume turned right down on this the signal to noise filter struggles a bit and the audio cuts in and out with a pop at the beginning of a record and in between tracks. Personally i think they should have designed it without this feature and let it crackle.Turn the volume right up and it’s not so bad.

Great product, i bought it for my wife for. Great product, i bought it for my wife for christmas and it was the hit present of the holidays particularly the ability to play through external speaker using blue tooth.

Bought as a birthday gift for my husband. Delivery was prompt, on the day scheduled, and to the hour specified. Saved waiting in for that knock on the door.

But its a nice looking thing.

Having problems with the aux sockets. Having problems with the aux sockets. Tried plugging in external speakers would’nt work. Then tried plugging in headphones (i dont have bluetooth ones) that wouldnt work either.

I brought this for my partner and wanted a record player that was quality made and was bluetooth enabled so i could link it to my speaker. First impressions of the record player from in the box i was certainly not disappointed in the construction quality and the look. Really worth paying the extra to get a very smart and we’ll finished unit. The box was well packed and comes with charging / power cable. Yes it has a battery, as yet haven’t worked out how long it lasts but it hasn’t ran out on us. Also in the box is a usb stick but haven’t tried this feature. It was easy to connect the bluetooth speaker to the unit and finds it every time and the reason i do this is so we can listen to the music in any room we are without moving the record player. The sound quality is great when you turn the volume to max on the record player then adjust volume on the bluetooth speaker. This prevents the hiss noise that you can get.

Nuimo – Smart Home Controller : Mann jury out at the minute

A gadget in search of a reason to exist. A great concept, beautifully made and with a brilliant tactile feel. It’s just that it doesn’t have enough uses yet. Still waiting for it to control my nest thermostat. I’m sure it will get there but right now i couldn’t recommend it to all but the most geeky of folk. Great for sonos and spotify though.

Cool product, the device is reactive and accurate. Cool product, the device is reactive and accurate, an update a week ago really cleaned up the action for the hands-free bit of control. Feels really nice in the hand (very clean design) but is also stable on my desk and looks great on the wall– i’ve gotten more than a few compliments on it — people seem keen to use it when they come over. I use sonos throughout my house and the rotary dial on the nuimo works perfectly from every room although i’d love some longer range on the ble so i can have just one at home – works in my experience up to about 20 meter with no wall between.

Nice design/weight/materials very good for sonos. Got one of these for my apartment – and as a gift to my brother a few weeks ago. Nice design/weight/materialsvery good for sonos, don’t really see the need for lights at the moment. A bit expensive but you can see some real care that has gone into the product, even the packaging feels top notch. The hands-free control is pretty cool for when you have dirty hands.

I’ve been listening to a fair amount more music since i bought the nuimo. It pairs well with amazon fire tv and leave on the wall when i am away so that my kids can use it (using it with iphone was a huge pain). Very nice to have the versatility to carry the controller around or wall mount as needed. I’m not particularly technical so it’s a really useful product and easy to get a ton of use out of, even if you’re not a techie.

We have two in our office, they work amazing. Beautiful design and easy to use software. Everyone who stops by the office asks about it. It’s definitely something to show off on your wall or desk.

Mann jury out at the minute. Only just got this to work with my existing sonos systems in the house. I think it will take a bit of getting use to. Seems easier just to use your phone as a controller as the nuimo is very sensitive. No display to tell you name of songs etc.

Initial teething issue resolved with latest firmware and now a great tactile remote used daily. Expensive but quality build. Full review from a user having had the nuimo since launch and been using daily for nearly 6 months now. Summary (tl:dr)it was a tough initiation but with the latest changes this is now a must have controller in my garden room for my sonos music system and hue lighting. I would definitely buy it again, but i think it needs to be priced no higher £100 to attract more users. Detailed reviewhardware:the price is high, much of that must be due to the excellent quality of the hardware. This unit is wonderfully well engineered and the quality of the materials is top notch. The smoothness of the volume dial is wonderful. The touch surface is hard plastic/acrylic and is smooth but mat. It has a positive click when pushed much like a quality mouse button click.

Very pleased with it so far. My wife and i both love nuimo so far – we use it everyday to control the music in our living room. We have a sonos play bar and a few other sonos speakers and it was really easy to hook up the whole system to nuimo and just press play. It took me a while to figure out a way to get around using my iphone as a hub (nuimos only ble…. )now we’ve got it set up with a tablet we keep in the lounge and it works great. My advice is to definitely double check what devices you have to connect with (smartphone sucks for a bridge if you live with other people). Overall really nice bit of kit.

Cool, simple, clever device that works well with a variety of stuff. I have to say when i first got nuimo there was a lot to be done on the software side. Luckily the team has been true to their word of pushing regular updates and communicating with the customer base to build up the integrations list. I also experienced the battery recharge issue but it has since been fixed in latest updates and now runs for me regularly for a month or more depending on the use. Huge pro’s of the device include the build quality of the hardware, they really made sure to think about the details and the quality of the materials are excellent. I find it fits really well into my life after hooking it up to my amazon fire tv as a bridge. Cons of the device are of course the list of integrations is still growing, however i primarily planned to use it with sonos (and that’s what i do) so its not a huge issue for me. Will be interested to see how the team tackles further integrations down the line. Overall recommend the hardware – it really is a great alternative to the apps for most smart devices.

VCM CD/ DVD Roma Tower : OK WHEN PUT TOGETHER

This item looks better in the picture than it does in real life, not good value for the money, however easy to assemble, that’s why i rated it a three star.

Taller than advertised and door fittings very poor.

VCM CD/ DVD Roma Tower, Black

  • CD/DVD furniture Roma in different colors
  • 2x ESG reinforced safety glass door with soft edges.
  • Wood structure reproduction.
  • For 300 CDs or 130 DVDs or 72 videos. Dimensions: H.88 x W.60 x D.18 cm.
  • Including fixing material and assembly instruction.

Ok but not the best for the money. Product ok would not buy again as capacity not as good as expected. Also instructions in german not helpful. I’ll use it as its adequate but there are better and cheaper on market i feel. Looks better in photo and glass doors have no catch so would recommend manufacturer think of supplying a magnetic closure system.

Very happy with my purchase. Looks great and is much tidier than the open cd towers i had before that were dust collectors. Delivery time was very reasonable considering they came from germany.

VCM CD/ DVD Roma Tower, Black : Great cd storage solution, poor assembly instructions. . A great storage cupboard for cd’s. Generally good quality, and well made. Beware though as the instructions are in german and make a well known swedish companies flat pack instructions seem an object lesson in clarity. Also the positioning of the magnetic latches is confusing as the handles need to align with them. The marked positions for the catches not only are too far back (on my example at least) making the doors close out of line with the front edge, but are also nowhere near the handle positions shown in the instructions and the illustration photo’s on the web site.

Well made and fairly simple to construct, the finished product is both attractive and extremely functionali had to wait a while for delivery, but this was made clear to me at the outset and the item eventually arrived well within the scheduled time.

Had to modify pads to fit door handles to glass.

Really nice unit but not really worth £99. Really nice unit but not really worth £99.

Take a good look at the illustration. Would have given this four stars but have marked it at three because of three things, the first is that the instructions are in german – would it cost too much to print a few different languages on the same sheet of paper?. Secondly i have six screws left over, a bit worrying. The third is the most important though, if you look at the illustration on amazon, there is only one magnetic catch on the right hand side door, you obviously have one on each side but look closely at the illustration and you will see that where the magnetic catch is located, you cannot store any cd’s because it takes up space inside the cabinet and makes the shelf in that particular place lower – take a look and you will see what i mean, there are no cd’s in that section on the illustration. This is however, a neat storage solution and i am still pleased i bought it though the price seems a little steep for mdf.

The cd cabinet is good but the assembly instructions were in german.

Great service nice if pricy unit. Unit arrived promptly and well packaged looked just like the photos my only negative is i felt it was quite expensive for the product but it was just what we needed to store our dvds like the glass doors but there is a gap at the sides so dust likely to get in.

Nuimo – Smart Home Controller : Great for my home

Cool product, the device is reactive and accurate. Cool product, the device is reactive and accurate, an update a week ago really cleaned up the action for the hands-free bit of control. Feels really nice in the hand (very clean design) but is also stable on my desk and looks great on the wall– i’ve gotten more than a few compliments on it — people seem keen to use it when they come over. I use sonos throughout my house and the rotary dial on the nuimo works perfectly from every room although i’d love some longer range on the ble so i can have just one at home – works in my experience up to about 20 meter with no wall between.

Whoa – blown away by the build quality of nuimo. Using it together with my sonos playbar, quite good action for volume/skip songs. Hoping they launch an apple tv app at some point since it’s at the centre of my home theatre system but for music it’s fantastic.

Cool, simple, clever device that works well with a variety of stuff. I have to say when i first got nuimo there was a lot to be done on the software side. Luckily the team has been true to their word of pushing regular updates and communicating with the customer base to build up the integrations list. Great idea, but limitations prevent it being really useful. I am in exactly the same position as the previous reviewer. I was an early investor and eagerly awaited my nuimo for months. However, now i’ve got it i really can’t find a good use for it. In my view, the dependence on being linked to a bluetooth hub is a major shortcoming, and one that i don’t recall being mentioned in early published information. I expected it to link to my home wifi network. For anyone reading this comment and not sure what i mean by that – the nuimo has to be connected to a compatible bluetooth hub to work. For most that will be their bluetooth enabled phone. However, what if you need to go out with your phone and your other half wants to continue controlling the sonos system, philips hue, etc?.Or you want to use the nuimo in one room while your phone is charging in another?.

Nuimo – Smart Home Controller (for Sonos, Philips Hue and more) : Great, high quality but could be just a little better with a few tweaks to the firmware and app. This is a great product and very high build quality. I bought this to provide some physical control of my sonos for my wife who prefers physical controls to using an app. You have to pair with a bluetooth device running the nuimo app, i used an old android phone i had available, if you don’t have this you will need to keep a device in range of the nuimo. The reason i only gave 4 stars rather than 5 was you can’t select a favourite source for your sonos, what i really wanted to do was press the nuimo to turn on the radio, and perhaps long press to cycle through the sonos favourites which would allow my wife to change radio stations without having to get her phone out, so the nuimo hasn’t quite met my requirements, i hope this feature will be added soon. Current controls available for sonos are. – play/pause- volume control- next/previous trackyou can add multiple sonos speakers, and by default swiping down the device changes the selection, this is useful for instance if you have multiple sonos speakers in adjoining areas that you want to control the volume of seperatly. Another feature that would be great – but is missing – would be to use the display to show the room name you are connected to at the monemt you have to remember which is which – sonos shows as a music note and if you have multiple systems they are indicated with a dot on teh screen. The unit comes with a magnetic wall mount (the wall mount sticks to the wall using some sort of double sided tape and the controller sticks to the mount using a powerful magnet)overall the unit is heavy with rubber feet so doesn’t slip when turning the very smooth volume control around the edge of the device. In summary very close to 5 stars but not quite there yet.

Totally love coming home and pressing ‘play’ on nuimo. Simple and smart – really loving it so far. Planning on investing in a few hue bulbs to check out switching between lights/music and hopefully syncing everything to one-click control for my apartment. Love the design, feels high-quality and sturdy.

Roberts Radio Blutune 50 DAB/DAB : Great piece of kit, loverly sound

Great piece of kit, loverly sound. This is my second dab radio and again, in additon to dab radio i wanted to connect an ipod. The differnce here is that instead of a physical dock (which apple seems to like to change the shape of on a regular basis. ) you can connect using bluetooth – which also means my samsung phone is connectable as well – happy days. This pretty much works out of the box, plugged in and it sets the date/time and scans for available stations. All goodstation slection is via a turnable dial (very retro. You can select some presets as well (both fm and dab ) and that is easy to do as welli liked the ability to dim the front screen and there is a nice sleep function – so far all pretty standardbut the main advantage is the sound – its a big step better than my other dab radio and you can connect other speakers as well – so the combination of better sound and bluetooth connectivity makes this just what i was looking for – recommeded.

Great sound if you position it carefully. . I spent a long time reading reviews, trying to decide which radio to get. I wanted a reasonably small dab clock radio with good sound quality at a reasonable price. Roberts used to make great radios but some of their more recent models have been not so good and i was a bit concerned about some comments about this radio which talked about too much bass and muffled sound. In the end i decided it ticked most of my boxes and i’d take a risk and i’m glad i didthis is a great little radio. The sound is really good for its size. I think people who’ve had problems with bass must have positioned it badly. I suppose clock radios often end up in the corner of the room which is not the ideal position for any speaker. I particularly like the dimmable display and the way the sound fades up when the alarm comes on – nice touches.

The set up is pretty straightforward as per manual except in a few places. I have now had this out of the box for 3 hours. The set up is pretty straightforward as per manual except in a few places. The dab tunes immediately and is automatic, but dab ‘manual’ tuning is more difficult and is not quite like page 10 of the 41 page manual. I am going back later to have another go. I didn’t need the drc (pg11) or the prune (pg12). Fm auto tune (pg13) will also be re-attempted later as i went for the manual tune on page 14. Display options were straightforward. Storing the station pre sets 10 dab and 10 fm was logical and does what it says. Bluetooth with a samsung galaxy was very fast and the bluetooth music from android to blutune was really good.

Brilliant compact dab radio, easy to use. Base and sound quality is excellent.

Does everything you could want. . I imagine that roberts design team sat down and thought about all the things they could put into a radio, and what should be left out. And then thought, ‘nah, let’s just put everything in’. This is really a do-it-all radio. Want the new-fangled dab digital radio?. Prefer the old-school fm broadcasts?. Maybe bluetooth it to my laptop?. You can even charge up your mobile phone with it, and even bung a headphone in there. I really can’t think of anything else they could have put on. The design is sort of retro-modern, with nice tactile knobs, but slightly plasticky buttons.

Brilliant radio alarm clock, and i’m really fussy. ************************still all good. An update to the below, i have lived with this around a year, i am still very pleased with it, it is faultless, never let me down, still easy to use. To answer one question the volume does go really low – on speech radio at least, if you want it to, to not disturb someone trying to sleep next to you while you listen. Also the brightness does go low enough to not disturb you sleeping. A minor thing that impressed me, if you turn it off or have a power cut, it recovers everything as it was quickly, to the correct time and remembers all the pre-sets and alarm settings. I tend to turn it off at the wall when i go away for a few days to keep the neighbours happy. Also i regularly use the usb port on the back to charge a phone or a kindle, very useful as there is no socket within yards of it. I have never noticed the phone interfere with it, but i don’t put the phone on top of it*************************got this after sending my revo axis x3 back in disgust.

Brilliant compact dab radio, easy to use. Base and sound quality is excellent.

Sounds great, easy to configure and dab sounds smooth and clear. It wakes you y slowly turning the volume up. Display has a dimmer function so you can set it’s brightness. My one and only criticism is that the 30 minute turn on timer function should have a raised surface. The amount of times i go to press it and turn the dimmer off annoys me. And, you can set it to 45, 60 or 90 minutes but it isn’t hard set so you have to choose how long you want it on for every time. Apart from that it is perfect.

Good sound but poor controls – not easy to use in the dark. The sound is great but the controls are poor. The buttons on the top of the radio are just not well designed for everyday use. I challenge anyone to turn it on or off without having to look at the top of the device with the light on.

Bit bassy at the start but its settling down nicely now.

It’s the model before this we’ve got and it’s a beast; pro-logic, touch sensitive, you virtually need an education to work it.

Nice box but poor sound due to no top end. All bass and low mid range boom. Other than the sound quality this worked fine. Nice to have a big time display. But i expect better from someone like this. If you’re going to give people such low clarity sound as standard you should offer adjustable eq settings.
