Dealbuyer 40″ LED Smart TV Full HD 1080p Freeview HD Media Player / Record and Wifi – Smart TV not quite smart enough, but close

Good picture lovely rich sound.

Excellent value for money – picture and sound quality exceeds expectations and to have wifi built in saves having more tangled wires.

Fantastic tv purchased from dealbuyer. Smart function is great, tv display very good considering the low price. Delivery was also fantastic, arrived next day and was provided with an estimated delivery hour time slot.

Features of 40″ LED Smart TV Full HD 1080p Freeview HD Media Player / Record and Wifi

Easy to load freeview and to fix the feet.

Very big screen and comes with apps included with tv. Very satisfied with the purchase.

I’ve had this tv for a couple weeks, i would have had it longer but the first one arrived with the screen broken and nothing displaying. To my annoyance i had to pay £16 to return it and was only refunded £5 for shipping, however i was refunded the full amount for the tv and bought another of the same model. The tv itself is very nice, especially considering the cost. The display seems vibrant and a good quality and i have not noticed any delay or sluggishness during rapidly changing scenes. Generally i use it to stream shows from my laptop, plugged in through an hdmi lead, or to play games on my xbox, plugged in on a ypbpr input. It has several other inputs, which makes life easy. While it can play content straight from a usb, it doesn’t recognise. The main negative is the ‘smart’ functionality is really slow, like it only just has enough hardware capability for what it does. When navigating the menus, such as changing inputs it’s a bit slow and sometimes gives up.

Current Supermarket Branded SMART TV

Really happy with this tv, never had a smart tv before so still discovering all the thing it can do, but was easy to set up didn’t read instructions as everything came up on the tv, the service was good it got delivered day after dispatch so was really happy, price was good too. Not much more i can say but would recommend.

Its a sharp 40″ smart tv and works well, has a great image. Only problem months in that i’ve noticed is the smart functionalities of it are quite slow.

For the price a cheaper tv for the size than argos it didn’t take the wife long to get it up and running just the internet to do but that’s a problem with our provider not the tv.

I soon had the tv set up and working in no time, once i sat back on my sofa the richness of colours and brightness of the picture was second to none and would put this on par with a far more expensive branded tv, the sound was also of a very good quality and far too loud to run at full volume for a period of time. Friends have been round and have commented on the quality of the picture and can’t believe the price i paid, (i know a couple of my friends have also gone on to buy one of these as they were that impressed). To sum up this set has a brilliant picture was easy to setup has great sound, smart features and a really keen price, what’s not too like, this will definitely get a lot of use in our house.

Not as “smart” as i expected. Still a great screen and audio quality is quite good. Just need a bit more technological advancements.

Netflix not available on this tv.

Full HD 1080p

Good picture and very light tv. I just wonder why the seller doesn’t put the make of the tv on the description. Sometimes the remote has a mind of itself but on a while i can’t complain about this product.

Great tv perfect picture selivered on time priced perfectly.

Good product and efficient service.

The model delivered was a sharp lc40cfe6242e. Easy to set up once i changed the onscreen language from german to english. Picture quality is very good and the sound is fine with access to a sound equalizer function to fine tune if you don’t want the presets. A couple of downsides, hence the 4 stars and not 5. If you have sky then your sky remote can’t be programmed to operate the tv as the sharp remote uses rf whilst sky uses standard ir. A little irritating to get used to two remotes again, but not too much. Could not get the tv to access the internet via wifi – can connect with the router but that’s as far as it goes. However, access via hard wire and a powerline plug is very easy, all automatic. But i’m afraid i was a bit disappointed with the smart function, limited apps, no netflix or amazon and bbc iplayer won’t work. Umc-uk who appear to be the agents to contact in case of problems state that a software update is available but not it seems for this particular model, i’ve emailed them about the wifi connections issue and software update with no response.
