Great tv, no negatives at all. Great price and most importantly great picture.
The uhd is incredible and the free 6 month uhd netflix that came with it was a perfect way to showcase the full abilities of this tv.
Arrived in time, and in one piece. The picture quality is good. I have to say there is one thing i don’t like about the television is the shiney screen it reflects things like table lamps on the screen. I purchased this because it was a ” which” best buy. I wonder why they missed this on their test.
I’ve had my eye on this tv for a while and couldn’t pass it down at £499. I needed a 4k tv to go with the xbox scorpio and this is one of the best out there.

Did a lot of research looking for a new tv and lg had the advantage when i got the tv the picture is fantastic better than i hoped brilliant for gaming, though finding the hdr set up wasn’t easy ,.

The magic remote is very good. Only disappointment is it doesn’t have a dual tuner.
Great television, i noticed the price went up just before black friday.
Brilliant tv and sound is so much better from the speakers than any samsung i have previously owned. I paid more than the current listed price of £649 for the 49″, which to my mind is an absolute steal.
Make sure this fits

Love this tv, even although i paid a bit more than other models.
Best smart tv i’ve ever had. Webos is so much better than androidtv in this case. 4k image is very crisp and colorful.
**update 31/10/17**i’ve recently upgraded to sky q 2tb box and netflix 4k, and been able to spend a little bit more time tinkering with the tv picture and audio settings, as well as performing the latest firmware update using a web download placed onto a usb stick. All in all the end results of this being another boost in viewing pleasure. The web os environment is very responsive, there’s a big selection of additional software downloads available in the lg store such as games etc. I also tuned up the audio using the built in app which utilises the smart remote to analyse the sound in your own room and suggests tweaks. It’s all just so slick, simple and rewarding to use. Of note the way the lg remote works is very similar to the new sky q touch remote, however i’d rate the lg system as easier to use. The family are also loving the simplicity of having terrestrial dtv tuned in again, and the two easy access netflix and amazon prime buttons on the remote, all of which mean less external boxes, and far simpler control than with our previous setup. We are all really very happy with this purchase, and i still feel that at the 43″ screen size this tv is an absolute steal. **end update**i was replacing an 8 year old lg plasma 720p with this screen and have found this model to be much lighter on the eyes with closer to edge to edge screen construction and a slimmer build than the older plasma, though obviously not paper think like the super expensive oled’s it’s been a welcome mark of positive progress design wise.

Whilst there’s a wide variation in picture and sound quality between the top and bottom tvs, there’s relatively little difference between the best in class models. Where there is a big difference though is in ease of use. For us this is what makes one brand/model stand out over another when both have very good pictures. We wanted to upsize our 32″ sony to a larger 43″ set – anything bigger would look out of place in our lounge. We’d been happy with the sony at first, especially when we bought a denon soundbox to go with it. However the smart features were frustrating and slow. In particular, typing what we wanted to view on youtube was so slow and fiddly we soon rarely used the tv for this, falling back on our laptops. An additional consideration is that we wanted my wife to be able to watch tv without disturbing me. Her existing perfectly good radio headphones connect into a 3. 5mm headphone socket, but we discovered that many makers no longer include a headphone socket, and if they do so not on the lower price sets.
Most sound quality direct from a tv is of poor quality. Doesn’t bother me, as i put the sound through my speakers. Picture quality is great and the magic remote control functions and smart tv content are great too (and fast).
Still learning from my son-in-law.
To set context, this tv and soundbar are replacing a sony 46” tv and onyko 2. 1 sound system bought in 2013. I mainly watch movies and sport (and as a punishment – love island). Not your usual quick amazon delivery as i ordered it on 28 aug and received it on 06 sep. But the price made it a very compelling buy and was circa £300 cheaper than the nearest rival. Day 1 with the tv was a bit of a let down. Not so much because of the tv but because of the rubbish internet i have (only 17-20 mb). I could not really test the 4k. Unless you wire the tv to the router, you may be disappointed unless you have a strong, fast internet. The tv is nicely built with the set up relatively painless.

Really pleased with this tv it shows of my games running on my xbox one x brilliantly superb picture great sound and a fantastic price and fast delivery.
Terrific picture, sound good. The technology will take a while to get used to. I bought it because it was “which’s” best buy. After a lifetime of buying sony and forgetting it, i hope that lg proves to be as reliable then i’ll be a convert.
The nifty wand style remote took a little getting used to but is actually very good. The auto brightness is somewhat over zealous so i tend to not use it. Sound is okay – volume very good, but often have to play with the ‘modes’ as speech gets buried by music. Not sure how to definitively fix that to be honest. Also; i have a nas and connect to the set via hdmi – this means it appears twice as there doesn’t appear to be a way to remove a wireless connected device from the sources list. Overall these are minor nitpicks, as expected when you spend a decent amount of money on anything.
Aluminium frame design –
A nice tv, got all the bells and whistles you need, plus the processor is quite fast so operating system runs smoothly. Worth spending a little extra for this model, rather than a lower grade model. Only downside is that like all the satililite and aerial tv’s i have seen, you can’t record and watch another channel. You can only watch a streaming service. This 43inch is for the bedroom. I use a 65inch lg in the lounge.
Easy to set up very good picture great for sports on h d.
Perfect for the bedroom, 4k works well, picture good and all the apps you need.
