B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay M5 Music System Multiroom Wireless Home Speaker – Natural : Good sound – if you can get it to work

I would give it 4. 5 stars if i could. Sounds great, looks even better and is very easy to use. We love this speaker and use it all the time. Its so easy to use on airplay and bluetooth. We have an audio system throughout our home but this gets used more then anything. The reason i have not given it 5 stars is because its expensive, and for that price i think there should be better sound options. Its very punchy, which is great for certain types of music, but when listening to classical for instance, you can change the audio settings on the source equipment but it still has too much base. Pros:looks stylish and classysounds very goodvery easy to usebest of all the wireless speakers i have usedcons:pricebit to punchy.

Given bang & olufsen’s reputation i did not expect to receive one of their products costing the equivalent of a southern rail season ticket and end up rating it as simply, ‘ok’. Sound = the sound quality is blissful. The bass is strong, i like it erring that way. So strong on reggae that at full volume the furniture will start migrating across the room. Likewise for big numbers it will fill a house – terrace dwellers beware. The experts at b&o also have that knack of producing clarity when you want music at low volume. There is no fuzziness or fudge in the sound. All of the foregoing is just as well because good luck if you want to change any of the settings.

Five star sound – four star frustration in setting up. Sometimes you have to forgive a lot in life – some things are worth it. This speaker is one of them. The sound quality would move you to tears, it is so rich, clear and velvety. It’s as if the singer is in the room with you. Listening to natalie merchant’s new tigerlily recordings on this is utterly spellbinding. The bass from this speaker is phenomenal – maybe a little too much at times, but it certainly fills the room. However connectivity issues would make you weep in utter frustration. These have been amply detailed in other reviews – all i can say is, they aren’t exaggerating. Bluetooth is a breeze – straight out of the box.

Received delivery of the m5 today (prime delivery fantastic as usual) i have numerous b&o products and as normal this product doesn’t disappoint, in fact it’s surpassed all expectation for such a compact device, multiroom works perfectly and the bass response is fantastic, actually sounds better than my beosound 1, but at nearly a third of the cost.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay M5 Music System Multiroom Wireless Home Speaker – Natural : Plugged it in, installed the b&o app on iphone and it found the device, connected to my wifi and has given me zero issues at all. Sounds bassy in ‘freestanding’ mode but balanced in ‘corner’ mode. Definitely happy with this speaker.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen PLAY Beolit 12 Airplay – Portable Wireless Music System – Easy to setup, Fantastic sound, brilliant build quality!!!

I bought this and it ended up being a faulty unit. Just simply would not connect to my network so i had to send back. It did work with via the jack cable and i found the sound on par with the much cheaper sonos 1 i bought previously.

This really is an excellent portable player. I wanted a portable music system for my iphone and ipod nano, and this really is the business. The fact that it is airplay as well is an added bonus. I do agree with other reviews that mention it does take a long time to connect to the internet whether wired or wireless, but maybe that will be addressed in a future update. One thing to note, you do need a headphone jack to play the radio with the ipod nano (7th gen).

Good design, easy setup, great sound. . First impressions on getting this out of the box were that it looked good, with an interesting design. I was concerned about how it would look as the one i ordered was called ‘blue’, but the overall colour of the case was grey with the blue being behind the mesh/holes. Overall it looks good, and did not look out of place in any room i tried it in. Next up is the setup of the device. As it was airplay enabled i decided to set it up using the app that is available. This proved to be very easy and straightforward, in less than five minutes i had it setup on my wifi network with a suitable device name. The process was very clear and easy to follow. My only criticism would be that the quick start guide does not describe the buttons and led colours in detail, and for each meaning you have read all sections of the guide, i expected a table listing led’s and what the colours mean. But, that’s a small point as set up was so easy. Here are the specifications for the B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen PLAY Beolit 12 Airplay – Portable Wireless Music System:

  • Easy to setup, Fantastic sound, brilliant build quality!!!

After doing lots of research initially aimed at getting the best bluetooth portable speaker my decision finally came down to this non bluetooth player. I had already had a bitter experience with airplay letting down the fabulous performance of the b&w a7 so i was somewhat sceptical but seeing as the beolit 12 is a portable player a direct connection from iphone to player would get around any further downfalls with airplay. It is first important to download the b&o setup app and follow the page which deals with updating the software (ethernet cable required – not supplied). Follow the instructions to the letter and connection to your network will be easy and straightforward. Note that airplay will not work over the faster 802. 11n protocol so make sure your router is also broadcasting the b and g variants (log in to your router settings to check). The quality of sound is really sweet, refined and detailed and for a box of this size has a pleasing sound stage. The bass is well handled without being overbearing (a problem all too common with current trends). At its original introductory price of £599 the unit was ridiculously overpriced but now at around the £350 mark its well balanced performance, build quality, design and portability means that the play beolit 12 can be heartily recommended.

The sound quality and ease of use should be better. . For the price and brand name, the sound quality and ease of use should be better.

Awesomely looking and sounding airplay device. Bought this beolit after a lot of worries about its performance, after reading the comments. First, the product seems solid and very well built, in addition to a great look. Sound quality is one of the best i would say, nice full sound, bassy & loud enough to fill up the room with sound. The wireless streaming its one of its problems, yet, what i found is that using a proper router the problem goes away. Try upgrading your router, (i. For the apple geeks ->airport express) and the difference is huge. Using a normal sky (uk) router, there are drop outs of 2-3 seconds randomly, i would say 0-5 times in a day, which seems traffic-related. The more devices i run, the most likely is that my iphone->beolit 12 signal is getting disrupted.

00 for mine and i think it has a fantastic sound the bass is amazing and i have no. I don’t understand why people are negative about this speaker i paid £389. 00 for mine and i think it has a fantastic sound the bass is amazing and i have no problem with the wireless set up in my flat and when i take it out with me i use the usb or jack plug to play music. The level of sound you get is well rounded and though there is no true stereo the speakers used and the technology give this a high quality sound. Go to a department store and demo it if you want to compare it i researched this for months before buying comparing it’s sound with arcam, samsung, several valve style units but none of them came up to scratch i heartily recommend this as a top buy. Once you set it up that’s it.

A beautiful warm and detailed sound. This unit, gives exactly the warm beautiful sound i have been looking for in an iphone speaker. I love listening to 50/60s vocal type jazz and own a large valve amplifier and speakers. I love the warmth and detailed vocals and rich sound that the valve equipment gives. The beolit gives that same rich sound that i love so much, i have not found this in any of the cheaper iphone speakers/docks, some of which sound way to bright. I am not interested in the airplay function, as i plug my iphone/ipad directly in and it charges at the same time. Also the direct connection sounds slightly better (this is the same for the other airplay units i have tried). I can tell you though, that if the airplay function is important to you, the set up on this unit and the connection times are the pits. The set up is long winded, the software updates fail repeatedly and the unit connection to the wifi is slow on start up. That said, airplay is not important to me and the sound is quality is incredible for such a small unit.

Great product with excellent sound.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beolit 17 Wireless tooth Speaker – Stone Grey – a surround sound system in a tiny box

Wow, music personalisation has just stepped up a notch. This is one hell of a piece of kit. It’s solid and urban in design, and the controls are basic. It’s easy to hook up to bluetooth. The ‘omnidirectional’ sound is magnificent, although it’s not as loud as other, cheaper brands. Once linked to the beoplay app, you can personalise the sound, playlists and even get it to wake you up. It’s incredibly versatile and will make you the envy of everyone who sees and hears it. Beautifully packaged and made from premium materials.

I have to say that i have reviewed a good few bluetooth speakers for different manufacturers/companies and they are generally all pretty good. With some being exceptional. . This one is definitely in the exceptional quartile.Plus it does have brilliant volume. 1 x beolit 17,1 x mains cable,1 x quick start guide, the quick start guide is almost useless, though i did manage to figure out how to charge it. There is a link to an app for instructions. . Perhaps it is me but this model was not included and the app was supposed to connect to the device. It didn’t (though i will keep trying)charging is straightforward and i have no idea how long it takes as there is no charging indicator that i can findpairing this speaker with my phone/tablet and laptop was literally a minutes work,if i as a 72 year old can pair this speaker and have it running in that amount of time (without any instructions) then i am sure anyone can.

  • Portable Bluetooth speaker keeps going with up to 24 hours of battery life and included smart-charging UkB-C charger
  • In the box: Beolit 17 portable speaker, mains cable and quick start guide, Charging time: 2.5 hours

In the real world there is no way i would pay £450 for a bluetoooth speaker. I love my music, but four hundred and fifty quid???. Reallybut when offered the chance to try the beolit 17 from high ticket brand b&o i figured here was a chance to see just what £450 gets you. Well, there is no doubting the build quality of this thing. Taking it out of the rather nice box you find a solid, heavy (2. B&o have come up with some crazy design choices in the past (many years ago as a teenager i remember stopping to look at the oddities in the local b&o emporium every time i walked past and often wondering just what some of the items were and did) but the design of the beolit 17 is decidedly minimalist. Think cary battery with a leather strap – its about that size and shape. Maybe that’s a bit unfair, but it is the first thing that came to mind. Bizarrely, and this is the b&o touch i guess, it is not unattractive. The materials are top notch – the grill which surrounds the speaker (being a 360 speaker) doesn’t flex at all but appears to be very full of holes to let the sound escape.

Brilliant bluetooth speaker. I have several wifi speakers but this one is in a different league. First of all, it’s a really beautifully packaged product, arriving in the kind of box you really do want to film yourself ‘uboxing’.) then, once open, it’s simplicity itself to set up. Just download the beoplay app to your phone (though this isn’t strictly necessary as it will just connect via a bluetooth connection anyway) and the app will check for any updates needed. Mine needed one update which took 11 minutes to download and instal. And boy, what sound this produces. Rich, detailed, and as loud as you’re likely to need in any room.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Really good sound
  • nice looking bit of kit
  • Unbelievably good portable speaker

Premium-sounding speaker of fantastic quality. Bang & olufsen have a reputation as being a premium brand (if not the premium brand) as far as audio equipment is concerned. However, my one previous experience with b&o speakers was somewhat disappointing. This was some years ago, and having been told repeatedly by friends that my experience was atypical, i was looking forward to the beolit 17. This is the largest b&o bluetooth speaker, and it’s certainly quite weighty – about ten inches across, quite square-looking, and weighing over six pounds. However, despite what might seem like a lack of aesthetic appeal, it actually looks nicer than it sounds. The handle is made of leather and feels of very high quality indeed — all in all, despite my initial reservations, it does look a really nice thing. Setup was very easy — literally plug into the wall using the supplied cable, press and hold down the on button, and then the speaker is available for pairing from your device. So far i’ve paired with both an iphone 7 and a samsung galaxy, and both have been easy and seamless to do so. Where the speaker really scores, however, is in terms of the sound quality.

I’m new to this brand, but i now get what the fuss is about. I have several bluetooth speakers, from most brands (lucky me, i know) and although they’re good – this is a good few steps up. I did expect it to be excellent, given the rrp, and it stands up to my expectations of this luxury brand. Would i spend that much on a speaker?. So – i am in no way musically qualified, but here’s my experience:1. Well packaged, not beautiful, but fit for purpose.

Unbelievably good portable speaker. This ‘little’ box by b&o is a marvel. It’s pretty small given how big the sound is, the battery is a monster and it looks amazing. Then again, for nigh on £450 it should shouldn’t it?the speaker looks amazing, the carrying handle is a great touch and it looks durable, and yet, for me, this was going to live plugged in in the leaving room. Because i have a small space for a speaker which i want to give us an alternative to the stereo, unfortunately, though it looks as though myself and this b&o piece of kit weren’t destined to be together. I have tried about 4 devices so far but nothing has quite satisfied my needs. The sound on this was brilliant, but unfortunately constantly having to reconnect every time i wanted to use it was the killer – the problem here is that this is designed to be mobile and i just want to leave it switched on to automatically connect when i need it and not have to interact with it past pressing play. Oh well, the thing is, my few days with this piece of kit did teach me that this is the best mobile speaker you can find, it’s just designed to be mobile though, not for the living room. I can’t give it anything less than 5 stars even though i returned it, given that it does sound incredible for a portable speaker and it does work as advertised, it just turns out – perhaps unsurprisingly – that it won’t do what it’s not designed to do.

Amazing build and sound quality. I will hold my hands up here and admit to never being able to even contemplate buying anything by bang and olufsen due to being a poor public sector worker. I do remember though as a child my dad having a b&o record player which always fascinated me because it looked fantastic. However, i was never allowed to touch it. I had to make do with a fidelity ua6anyway, the first thing i noticed whilst unpacking this beast was how well put together it is. Wow, it really oozes quality. Even the packaging itself feels premium, something started by apple i suppose. Saying that i personally don’t think the play is a looker. It is quite bland in it’s own way, although the ‘wrap around’ speaker grill does look good in the grey colour i was provided with. With every bluetooth speaker i’ve ever owned setup has been a breeze and i didn’t expect any issues here, but for some reason the speaker refused to connect to my note 4. I kept getting an error on my phone saying the beolit had refused the connection. After a frustrating quarter of an hour of searching google and turning everything on and off a few times the connection seemed to work, though i suspect more by accident than design. I’d downloaded the beolit app and my first impressions of that weren’t too favourable and they still aren’t. A surround sound system in a tiny box. I wasn’t sure anything could be better than my little v-moda but this is an absolute belter of a speaker – the sound quality really knocks your socks off and i never even need to crank up the volume full (pretty sure half the town could hear it if i did). Have you every experienced dolby digital surround sound 7. 0, where you feel not like you’re near the music, but in the music?. I’m a bit useless when it comes to technology so i’d never actually heard of b&o before; a friend informed me that they are quite a high-end name. I will definitely keep b&o in mind from now on, if this is the standard of what they produce. My one and only gripe, and it’s not even really a gripe, is that the handle and size kind of suggests it should be portable, but the weight makes this idea a bit prohibitive. I’m quite happy to have it around the house, however, no complaints.

And battery life is atrocious at relatively high volume. Only last 2-3 hours, is my speaker faulty?.

This is a substantial portable speaker with great sound. It is a little weighty but as it packs a punch is great to use. Will be good for barbecues, parties and get togethers etc. Only downside for me was the charging cable didn’t stay connected well at either end and fell out easily. It looks good and nice and durable.

This is the first ‘bang and olufsen’ product i’ve had the pleasure and privilege to own myself, and wow is the brand fantastic. What impresses me most (besides obviously the quality of sound) is simply its amazing portability and the fact that wherever it’s situated it looks impressive and at home; as much a focal & talking point as an expensive ornament or piece of furniture might be. It’s not light, but i find its sturdiness reassuring, a testament to the build quality, and also in practice as it means you’re not concerned it might be knocked or topple over. I’ve had experience of the brand in the past with a ‘bang & olufsen’ stereo system that was very old and passed down through the family for many years, but which never suffered from technical problems and just as amazingly, despite being at least 25 years old, always looked modern and sleek. Whilst not being able to see into the future, i’m hopeful and confident the same is true of this unit, as it’s been designed to be sleek, minimal and inoffensively shaped. One of the things that astounds me most about the beolit 17 and which i personally judge to be one of its best features, and having used many radios over the years with in-built battery packs, is the length of time it’s capable of working after being charged. It’s such a big advantage not to have to charge it every 2, 3 hours or so. You can relax much more knowing it can be left working- for up to 24 hours, if the product description is to be believed but which admittedly i haven’t quite managed to test out myself yet.

B&o have long held a reputation for quality of audio reproduction, their advanced designs and exclusive prices; those who demanded the brand were always happy to pay the price for ownership. Although usually avoiding the crazy multi-thousand £ price per component, the brand was usually considered elite. The ‘b&o play by bang & olufsen beolit 17 wireless bluetooth speaker – stone grey’ uses a simple unassuming design externally, far divorced from the ‘classic, modern’ design principles previously employed for many of their products. The speaker unit enclosure is of a moderate size, 22. 5-inches in its largest dimension) and weighs in at about 2. 8kg (approx 6 lbs), heavy-ish but not excessive with a moderately low bulk. It compares well on size with the so-called market leading alternative renowned for the brand’s claim of superlative room-filling sound but which many find woolly and ill-defined. Not so with this; the audio output is rich and developed.

This is a speaker for playing loud music. For low volume it’s about the same as my bose soundlink mini ii, possibly not quite as good as that. Build quality is a bit questionable, it appears to be nothing more than a plastic housing with metal mesh for the speaker area, sadly it makes it feel like a plastic bucket. The 360 degree sound is effective. I bought mine to play therapy music for clients so i need clarity at low volume which it does deliver, but i prefer the sound from the bose soundlink mini ii for this. For blowing your ear drums out with bass then look no further.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay A2 tooth Speaker – : 10/10, as expected from B&O

The speaker is bigger and heavier than i thought it would be but the sound quality is amazing. A definite recommended status for me.

Great sound quality and design. Well, i thought a2 should at least have 6 hrs before i bought it – 24 hrs seems like a dream for me and i’ve never considered it as the truth. However, i only got 3 hrs maximum under 70% volume. This is totally unacceptable.

Good sound, great design if you’re fed up with small boring bluetooth speakers**updates**. First off unfortunately i had to buy this elsewhere as amazon didn’t have stock at the time (1st week of november 2014)there are so many bluetooth speakers on the market it can be hard for newcomers to make their presence known, b & o, with their first release in this arena have certainly managed this. This is due to 2 main reasons in my eyes, cost and design. I have an older smaller but very good bluetooth speaker, the soundmatters foxl v2 which i’m pretty happy with. So i hear you ask, why did you buy this?i really like the design and the fact that it goes very loud, and it doesn’t try and be a jack of all trades, no inbuilt mic for speakerphone operation. 5mm input only on the audio side and a usb socket for charging your phone. This is well put together, the chassis is aluminium and the speaker covers are plastic, polycarbonate i think. They are not designed to be user removable, which is a shame as swapping these over for a different colour could be an attractive option. So how does it sound?, well b & o haven’t let us down in that respect, a balanced audio signature with a nice bass response, flat not bloated.

Top of its class, premium build quality, the purest, richest sound. I thought i’d best get around to reviewing one of my best purchases on here as i was asked recently to review a crazy horse leather case designed specifically for my gorgeous green bang & olufsen beoplay 2. This really is the cream of the crop as far as portable music is concerned. Bang & olufsen have a world wide reputation of course for creating some of the best high-end electronics in the world and this bluetooth speaker offering is certainly to their usual unrivalled standard. It arrives in a premium quality box and from the minute i opened the box i loved the look of the speaker. Big and bold and simply beautifully crafted with a clean and simple look that just screams quality and class. I chose the green as olive green is one of my favourite colours and i have to say, the green is the only colour choice for me here. I just feel it shows off this stunning speaker to its ultimate best.

10/10, as expected from b&o. Great sound fidelity, sounds lmost the same from all angles. It handles both low and high volume well, with good bass for such a small speaker. It’s also a beautiful product, happy to have boutlght this over ue, jbl or bose portable speakers, despite the slight disappointment at it not being water or dust proof (ip44 i believe).

Very beautiful speaker only let down by the ridiculous battery life. I’ve sent mine back as they were great whilst plugged in but barely lasted an hour on battery power so not really any good as a ‘portable’ speaker. Stil, if you’re happy to have this on mains power i would highly recommend.

Having reviewed alternatives i took a chance on this expensive b&o and do not regret it. I bought the bose soundlink mini ii (big mistake: see my review) and returned it because of the obnoxious headache-inducing bass. This speaker is a lot more expensive and having heard a friends bowers and wilkins t7 which is amazing i nevertheless took a chance on this because the front & rear facing speakers seemed a novel solution to the lack of ‘stereo’ from small speakers. I am used to decent hi-fi gear. Well this speaker is wonderful and i am so glad i bought it. Real or fake stereo, it sounds lovely. The bass is deep but controlled and appropriate. The t7 had lovely mids but no bass so that and the looks of this (in green) helped my decision. I am also getting longer battery life than some others but perhaps i don’t play it too loud. I got about 24hrs on the first charge so all in all i can honestly recommend this speaker.

The speaker is bigger and heavier than i thought it would be but the sound quality is amazing. A definite recommended status for me.

Amazing sound quality and attractive lightweight design. Amazing quality and sound, connects to two devices at once via bluetooth, highly recommend.

Nice open sound, very clear. Far better than pretty much any bluetooth speaker i’ve heard (quite a few) under £500. You aren’t going to get the performance you would from a proper set of speakers but for what it is, it’s excellent. Goes pretty loud, though not window shaking. Treble, mid and bass are well balanced. No unnatural beats bass here. Battery life is great and volume reduces when it starts to get low to notify you and extend the life of the current charge. I quite like the style of it, quite understated and not too flashy.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H2 On-Ear Headphones – : Good quality, read for honest review on how they sound!

A bit tight on the head if one is using glasses. Still, highly recommended, especially if bought at a lightning deal.

Just wish they were wireless. Lost a star for faulty cable.

Best audio quality for the price range. Great headphones with just the right balance for mids and lows to experience the real sound of music. The build quality is excellent from a brand like b&o, which i could not expect anything less. I use them daily so can’t really fault them. Sometimes after long listening sessions my ears would ‘hurt’ a bit, but it really depends how you fit them on your head. There is also an inconvenience to wear them with glasses as they are so tightly fit. I would also wish that they came with two cables for both android and iphone.

I absolutely love this product. I absolutely love this product. I bought them for my boyfriend, but unfortunately i have had to return them as he has a massive bulbous head and kept complaining that they were too small. So clearly, if you or the person you are buying for has a head comparible to the elephant man, then these probably aren’t the headphones for you. Sound quality is great though for those with average to small heads :-).

It’s a bit stiff, but it very stable and stays on your head. Sound quality is amazing, would recommend.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H2 On-Ear Headphones – Silver : Great sound quality, poor comfort for glasses wearer. Ok, so as headphones go, these sound great, they have a slightly exaggerated sound signature, which for most people who like bass, will be great. The build quality seems good, and the leather is nice. However – the reason for the 3 stars, is that, as a glasses wearer, these are extremely uncomfortable when wearing them for any period of time (more than 30 minutes). – the auto-adjusting headband means that they are a very tight fit, and the supra-aural design means that large amounts of pressure are applied over the ear, which presses too hard against the glasses frame, and causes headaches in my case. – my glasses frame is quite thick however.

The best headphone i have listened to. This by far, is the best headphone i have owned. I have a few phones since this b & o. Ok, i am not a tight git but at the same time, i am not all for brand and price. I just want a decent headphone that gives crisp sound at a decent price. I recently bought a sony mdr-xb950bt bluetooth premium xtra bass overhead headphone and that was more expensive than the b&o one (due to amazon lightning deal price). After a few months of using the sony one, i couldn’t help to feel that the xtra bass was kind of a gimmick. Not only that, during summer, the sony one, because of the design which is comfortable but it can make the ears feeling rather hot and sweaty. Now, when ears go sweaty, that wasn’t nice. This b & o beoplay, now it feels tight when you try to open it up to put it over your head.

Gorgeous sound, massive design fail head strangler. I own a lot of headphones (maybe i’m never happy?. Lol), and the sound of these is really very very good. ***review edited sep 2016 see bottom***rich deep bass. They’re just terrible terrible impractical headphones. Lovely quality build, high quality feel to them, velvet touch headband, lambskin ear covers. . So why are they so poor to adjust, so tight, and so so so hot?. Absolutely no chance of breathing in these, they will suffocate your ears (within 1/4 inch of their life) like no others. I coveted these for a while, and i still believe they are high quality and ymmv (so go for it of course), but i’m bitterly disappointed at who tested these and the money i’ve essentially wasted – no-one else in my family wants them (‘wow. They’re tight and sweaty’), so might try and ebay them. I have no such problems with my beyer, akg stuff whether on ear or closed. ***edited sept 2016***you know what?.I’m gonna try and put up with the tightness more, as with a better music playing device i now own (ibasso dx80) they really really do sound good, well, they always didi still don’t like the fit and crazy tightness, but the excellent sound quality can’t be ignored, so 3.

Gorgeous design and solid sound. Taking these out the packaging, the quality of these is immediately obvious. Thought they’re plastic, they still feel relatively sturdy and the fabric across the sides and band gives a pleasant rough texture. The ear cups are soft and mean that wearing these for an hour or longer never feels uncomfortable. I picked up the ‘feldspar green’ version of these and they’re a seriously beautiful piece of kit. In terms of sound quality, i’m not audiophile, but i think they sound great for day-to-day listening. They’re nicely balanced – the bass is present but not overpowering and the mids and highs don’t get drowned out at higher volumes. I’ve tried plenty of over-ear headphones in the £200+ range and while these can’t match the most expensive sennheisers or grados, these still sound great and look even better. While they’re not noise-cancelling, they also block out a surprising amount of external sound for on-ear headphones. I picked these up for £100 on an amazon lightning deal which was phenomenal value – they’re easily worth that or a bit more.

Good quality, read for honest review on how they sound. Firstly, packaging of the headphones cannot be scrutinised at all, very nicely packaged. Quality – now i will be honest i do own allot of headphones and earphones, as i love my music and quality sound. This may have some impact on my review and stars rating. Comfort – the headphones are ok when comfort is in mind, they are a little stiff for the first couple of times used but do get looser with less pressure on your ears. The leather pads are soft and very nice to touch, however positioning is some what annoying. I constantly found myself adjusting there position after long use as they do become uncomfortable – not great for long trips. Sound – again as i said i do own allot of headphones. To sum these up with one word they are ‘average’ for the price, people have given them great reviews for sound and they are good but that’s all they are is good. I found them to be a little narrow, lows, mids and highs are all there they just struggle to deliver clarity when compared to other headphones.

Good sound, sturdy and tight fit. Soundwise these are superb cans, i own different sets of headphones, the latest i got was the monster inspiration active noise cancelling and the jabra bluetooth ltd gold edition. I have to say these are at another edge of definition and clarity sound. I have just one remark to say since i wore them on i felt they are maybe too sturdy and feel the pads are pushing a bit too much towards the head. Maybe it is just because they are brand new and they still have to adapt to the custom fit of my head. Thanks to b&o for a nice piece of audio kit.

Best audio quality for the price range. Great headphones with just the right balance for mids and lows to experience the real sound of music. The build quality is excellent from a brand like b&o, which i could not expect anything less. I use them daily so can’t really fault them. Wonderful sound small and light perfect for travel. This is the first on ear headphone i’ve bought all the others being over ear. I wanted small light headphones for travel and these are perfect very comfortable just give them a few minutes to blend into the shape of your head. The sound is wonderful with plenty of volume if needed in noisy aircraft. If you want to protect your fold flat headphones may i suggest you look at the accessory house dn 1 pro case sold on amazon its a perfect case.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H2 On-Ear Headphones – Carbon : Beautiful sound and comfortable to wear.

So they had been truly very good worth and the speaker top quality is great. I received these in a prime day value, so they were really very good benefit and the speaker quality is superb. When once again with b&o they search fantastic also, but they allow me down on comfort and ease. I can not use them for extra than half an hour without the need of hurting my ears, a genuine disgrace – just not cushioned plenty of.

Great sound excellent, bad ease and comfort for eyeglasses wearer. Okay, so as headphones go, these audio fantastic, they have a somewhat exaggerated seem signature, which for most people today who like bass, will be wonderful. The make top quality appears great, and the leather-based is good. On the other hand – the explanation for the three stars, is that, as a eyeglasses wearer, these are extremely uncomfortable when putting on them for any period of time of time (extra than thirty minutes). – the auto-changing headband signifies that they are a extremely restricted suit, and the supra-aural design and style implies that massive quantities of tension are applied more than the ear, which presses way too tricky towards the glasses body, and results in complications in my case. – my glasses body is fairly thick having said that.

Excellent quality, browse for straightforward evaluation on how they sound. To begin with, packaging of the headphones can not be scrutinised at all, incredibly nicely packaged. Top quality – now i will be genuine i do possess allot of headphones and earphones, as i appreciate my new music and excellent sound. This could have some effect on my critique and stars ranking. Comfort – the headphones are ok when comfort and ease is in thoughts, they are a very little stiff for the 1st couple of situations employed but do get looser with fewer pressure on your ears. The leather pads are tender and really good to contact, even so positioning is some what frustrating. I continuously observed myself adjusting there position just after prolonged use as they do become unpleasant – not terrific for lengthy journeys. Sound – again as i explained i do possess allot of headphones. To sum these up with 1 term they are ‘average’ for the selling price, people today have supplied them good critiques for sound and they are great but which is all they are is great. I located them to be a little slim, lows, mids and highs are all there they just wrestle to supply clarity when when compared to other headphones.

The seem quality is outstanding but i agree with those reviewers who say that they are a tight suit. You end noticing soon after a whilst but you shouldn’t genuinely detect it in the initially place for this reason not a 5 star ranking. If you get an possibility to attempt the fit ahead of you acquire do so. I received them on amazon prime day for £80 so a bargain price for the audio quality but i wouldn’t have compensated more since of the healthy.

B&O PLAY by Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H2 On-Ear Headphones – Carbon Blue : Excellent sound – slightly uncomfortable for extended use. Sounds is absolutely excellent. The fit was a bit tight the first hour or so, but more comfortable now after some use. However, i knocked 1 star off the review as they are a bit uncomfortable for extended use.

Superior seem, comfy on ears for extended listening. Good sound, comfortable on ears for prolonged listening, but volume needs to be turned up higher than other headphones (when i listen to my ipod).

Excellent value with great sound and construct top quality headphones, but experienced faulty quantity handle lead (usually truly worth 5 stars). Exceptionally very good top quality headphones for the price. Extremely warm abundant sound but with clarity. Perfect for journey and out of doors use because of to warm seem, consolation and isolates most outdoors seem. 4 stars simply because allow down a bit by defective volume manage direct (one channel cuts out) but no large deal to me for the reason that direct detaches so i changed it wit a nicer one. Equipped direct developed for apple devices but quantity change works alright but no subsequent/ past monitor on android equipment.

They continue to be on incredibly snugly, but will not get sore.

I’ve been using a pair of b&o h2’s since last nite and feel the overwhelming need to post a race review of these fab headphones, i want to address a couple of gripes i’ve heard elsewhere, i’ve heard criticism that they don’t come with a case, it would’ve been nice but it didn’t bother me, another is the fact they’re made from plastic, they could be made out of cheese for all i care,it’s all about the comfort and sound for me,firstly, they look great, felt a little tight at first but the lambskin leather is very nice and the earpiece is well padded, a very snug fit. Now for the sound, beautiful balance and depth, very rich bass and i’ve noticed little sounds my bose and denon headphones hadn’t picked up, plenty powerful enough and with no distortion, i’ve listened to all sorts on these, it all sounds great, for me miles davis sounded best, rock sounds great and daft punk from the tron soundtrack sounded absolutely stunning, been trying lots of goosebumps, you can pick a pair of these for under £100 no worries, which is an absolute steal, if you’re considering getting a pair, just do it, you won’t regret it.

The finest headphone i have listened to. This by far, is the finest headphone i have owned. I have a number of phones because this b & o. Ok, i am not a tight git but at the very same time, i am not all for manufacturer and price. I just want a decent headphone that presents crisp seem at a first rate price. I a short while ago bought a sony mdr-xb950bt bluetooth high quality xtra bass overhead headphone and that was extra expensive than the b&o 1 (thanks to amazon lightning deal cost). Following a handful of months of working with the sony one, i could not support to experience that the xtra bass was kind of a gimmick. Not only that, for the duration of summertime, the sony a person, because of the design and style which is at ease but it can make the ears experience fairly sizzling and sweaty. Now, when ears go sweaty, that wasn’t awesome. This b & o beoplay, now it feels limited when you test to open it up to set it around your head.

They are on ear but the pads in good shape like tiny cushions so i don’t find them uncomfortable at all. I’m seriously pleased with these.
