Panasonic SCB-TT465EB9 6 : I love

Works fine but very loud fan. Would have been better with more digital inputs and dab radio.

A brilliant system once you get it all set up. It took me two whole days to adjust the settings properly to get the best sound from all of the speakers. I had to keep readjusting everything until i got it just the way i like it. Plus the digital optical cable wouldn’t register/work at first but it is working fine now. I did try using a good high quality hdmi cable but the picture and sound was horrible the dialogue kept fading. I have ordered some fibre optic hdmi cables from amazon but i am not sure if they will be any better.

Panasonic ALL1 Network Audio Connector – Not for those without a sound system, and rather complicated to set up!

The panasonic all1 is a very small unit that streams content from your home network, tablet or phone, into your existing speakers or hifi system. -it uses wifi or a lan connection to access the internet and connect to your mobile device or computer, and simply connects to your music system with the audio cables. Its connectivity is also good, so no problems there. It connects to many types of speakers, with aux or optical connection. To operate the device, you need to plug the its power cable, turn it on and wait for the lights to become steady. Then follow the installation steps on your mobile device. If the panasonic webpage does not appear, you can carry on with the installation manually, and it is very straightforward. Afterwards all you need to do is to download the most useful applications panasonic music stream, all play radio and all play jukebox. The last app allows you to stream music your phone, tablet, and home network.

Disappointing – can only use spotify if on premium. A panasonic product for me should always be a safe bet in terms of value and also premium quality. The concept of this had so much promise but i was left disappointed for a few reasons. It took me 3 attempts to get connected to the wireless router. Instructions were pretty bland and certainly not the easiest. The real spoiler is that in order to listen to spotify on this, you have to have the premium version of spotify. . So disappointingalso if you’re listening to tracks, if someone else wants to add a track, it takes over your tracks and puts theirs in front. Pointlessthe pricetag on this is outrageous, i’d struggle to justify £99 let alone £199. It is a small piece of kit and sadly that’s one of the only real positives.

At first the panasonic all1 worked fine for me and i thought i’d avoided all of the connection problems other reviewers had – then after a firmware update (the second in a month) and the unit being disconnected and moved to another room it threw a tantrum and refused to reconnect, at least for a while. Setting up the all1 up on your home network should be simple enough: you simply connect it to your hi-fi amp with the supplied (but quite short) phono cable and then turn it on. At first the unit creates its own (unprotected) wi-fi hotspot and you temporarily connect your smartphone (or other device) to that which allows you to log into the all1 and set the username and password for your existing home network. The all1 then shuts down its hotspot and reconnects to your home wi-fi network and from now on you can use the panasonic music streaming app on your ios or android device to play individual songs or create playlists. The all1 lets you play songs direct from your smartphone or tablet, from a nas server you might have setup (for example using plex or a dlna app), from internet radio app’s or from streaming services like spotify, though you’ll need a premium spotify account for this to work. In theory, because it uses wi-fi, the all1’s got several advantages over similar devices that use bluetooth – the range is much greater, so you can control the device from anywhere in your home you have a wi-fi connection whereas bluetooth has a more limited range, usually only in the same room. Bluetooth usually uses its own codecs to recompress music before sending it over the bluetooth connection, this reduces the sound quality quite audibly (although the aptx codec is pretty good) whereas the all1 can send the original files over your home network with no additional compression necessary – if you store your music in a lossless format this will mean a significant difference in audio quality. Finally, the all1 must have some onboard storage of its own (although panasonic aren’t admitting how much) because it doesn’t continually stream the music from your smartphone or tablet, it simply uses the app as a kind of match-making service. You pick the songs you’d like to spend some time with and the app makes the introductions between the music source and the all1 and then steps away leaving them to get along with each other – so once you’ve setup your chosen playlist you can switch off your phone and the music still plays. Here are the specifications for the Panasonic ALL1 Network Audio Connector:

  • Enter your model number
    to make sure this fits.
  • The Panasonic Music Streaming App makes it easy to send music wirelessly from your portable device to your speakers. This free app for Android and IOS devices simply asks you to choose your music source, choose your speaker and away you go.
  • With WiFi built in, connect the All 1C to your existing hi fi equipment to make it part of a multi room system.
  • Gold coated terminals are used to ensure that that a high quality connection is established, meaning that audio signal quality is maintained.
  • The design of the All 1C allows for easy siting in either horizontal or vertical manner, to fit conveniently next to your existing hi fi system.

The panasonic all1 does a pretty good job as an audio streamer. The panasonic sh all1c is a networked audio streamer which has its own dac (digital analogue converter) so that you can connect wirelessly to your existing (compatible speakers) and make them part of a multi room system. The panasonic sh all1c looks very sleek and stylish, black with rounded corners and covered with a leather look finish. Along the front of the unit in silvery grey are the panasonic brand name and you will also see the following: on/off, wps and mode indicator lights. Around the back is the power socket, left & right rca, ethernet port and digital output. The unit can be used standing vertically or horizontally next to your hi fi system. The size of the panasonic sh all1c is 13. Please note: this is not a speaker, it is an audio network interface which allows you to play your music all over your house as long as you have speakers that are compatible in the rooms that you wish to play music in. With gold plated terminals ensuring a high quality connection together with its inbuilt audiophile grade 192 khz/24bit dac you should have the highest quality signal conversion to your hi-fi. This means that when you are streaming high quality music you should still be getting first class audio through the device and in to your hi-fi. I did not find it too difficult to set the panasonic all1c up with my system. The all1c connects to your hi fi via the rca phone sockets.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • The Panasonic ALL1 does a pretty good job as an audio streamer
  • Fantastic Streaming Device
  • OK for the price

Would recommend for spotify users. The panasonic sh-all1c offers you the chance to play music on your phone/tablet and stream the output over wifi to your hifi equipment. It will of course work with the panasonic all system of wireless speakers but also works just fine with any normal hifi equipment. On the plus side the streaming is very reliable with no drop-outs to report (unlike apple’s airplay which on my home set-up has a few drops and pauses) the downside is the app that comes with it. You must play music through the panasonic app rather than the normal music section of your phone/tablet. The app lacks the search functions of the music player on my iphone and is a bit ugly although it does link well into spotify meaning anything you listen to on the spotify app can be heard over your decent speakers.

The sc-all1c is a device that receives streamed audio over a wireless network and delivers it (via phono or optical digital outputs) to an amplifier. It is controlled over the wireless network using a dlna/upnp controller app running on a smartphone or table, which selects the audio source such as an internet radio station or a local dlna server, and constructs a playlist. Panasonic provide their own (free) controller app; this has an advantage over other dlna controllers in that it allows multiple panasonic devices to be grouped to play in sync (but there are also disadvantages, see below). I’ve been using logitech (originally slimdevices) squeezeboxes for about ten years to stream audio around our house, including to an audiophile transporter attached to our hifi. I’m very happy with this setup, but all too aware that logitech have discontinued the range, and when these devices start to fail, i’ll have to find an alternative. Could panasonic devices such as the sh-all1c (and sc-all8 speaker, reviewed separately) fill the gap?. Sadly, i have to conclude that they can’t. I connected the sc-all1c to my hifi system (a cygnus 8xpd qx amplifier and d2a converter, and mission 751 speakers). I tried both phono and optical outputs (the latter feeding to the amp’s own qx d2a converter).

Hooked up with the minimum of faff. After the carry on i had while trying to hook up my panasonic all3 speaker previously, i was fully anticipating a similar battle with setting this up but it came as a pleasant surprise when it all went to plan and i was hooked up with the minimum of faff. It’s quite a compact and lightweight unit and is inconspicuous when set up next to our other audio equipment. It hooked up easily to the hi-fi via the aux socket and once the app is downloaded (if you don’t already use one) it’s a minute or three to patch it into your wifi network and you’re ready to stream music. This was the part i was least looking forward to as it caused a major headache with the panasonic speaker from the same range but everything just clicked into place this timeyou do need an android/ios smartphone/tablet etc though as you’ll be controlling everything via that device. Pretty simple to setup, as long as you take a bit of time reading over the setup guidelines (basic as they are) and if you don’t encounter any problems it’s a 10 minute job. If you search the app store you’ll find several allplay apps to control it if you don’t like the panasonic one (it’s a bit pants). I like listening to country music (don’t judge me) and the allplay radio app puts countless stations from around the world within my reach. If you have a spotify premium subscription you can stream that too. Or just use it for your playlist on your device.

Not for those without a sound system, and rather complicated to set up. This is not a speaker within itself, but it can be used to connect your music device to a speaker, over wifi. There is also the possibility to connect via wires, and there is an audio in and out cable provided. This is however, quite short, at around 25 inches, so you may wish to purchase a longer one. The problem we have had is that this does not really make it compatible to attach to the computer, at it does not come with a headphone style jack attached or provided, which is what our particular computer tower would need. Obviously this would be available to buy, but again is an extra expense. Our main systems are hdmi based, wheras this device is much more compatible with analogue. There is a port on the back for optical digital audio out provided, which may be useful for some people’s sound systems. Unfortunately we have just not been able to set this up in the way we hoped to, which may be because we did not read the details fully before ordering it. If you have your own sound system and speakers, then this would be a useful device, although it can be a hassle to set up and get connected to the network, requiring you to type in the ip addresses and manually select settings.

Works pretty well except for pause between tracks. For many years for my home music i have been using slim devices music players using a netgear readynas 104 nas as my music server. So now came the chance to own one of these gadgets as an alternate solution. I went for the hard wired rather than wireless option for maximum performance and used an optical cable (not provided) to hook it up to my sony amp. I also named the device ‘sony amp’ for identification (should you have more than one). Setup was pretty easy and the unit also updated its firmware and now says firmware version: 1. 0a5-p13now unlike my slim devices set-up to play music you need a smart phone or tablet with music on it or a pc (or i guess a mac) to play music on it.

This nice device could have bridged that gap. As an allplay device i think it works well but it dlna credentials are slightly iffy which is a pity because i thought it would be the ideal solution to dlna’s lack of support for synchronised playback. I thought i’d be able to send music to one of these from elsewhere as a dlna device and then use allplay to synch them all up. But there are two major limitations of its dlna renderer:1. Seek/ffwd/rewind) any music that has been sent via dlna to it. The manual even tells you that it doesn’t allow you to do this. Bsically, dlna cannot do synched playback, allplay lacks interoperability with all existing hardware and software. This nice device could have bridged that gap. But never the twain shall meet apparently. I have suggested improvements to panasonic about it but as usual you just get a stock reply back that they will send the suggestion to the relevant team for consideration, but no indication if, if ever, these issues will be fixed or whether there are going to be any software updates at all provided or whether this unit is now obsolete.

Gave a new lease of life to my old sound system. About 10 years ago i invested a whole pile of money into a sound system for my lounge. The speaker system still sounds fabulous, and whilst i was attracted to streaming devices such as the sonos, there is no way the sales people can convince me that their speakers systems are as good as the one i have already. I also previously had a ‘bluetooth’ speaker set-up which disappointed in the end because it wasn’t as good as my lounge speakers, and either the wireless or the bluetooth would drop periodically meaning the songs dropped too. This device has solved all my problems. I keep my expensive and brilliant old set-up, but add the ability to reliably and easily stream from spotify (or other sources). I managed to make set-up harder for myself than it need have been. I plugged in the box to my sound system, the power source, and stuck in an ethernet cable (i have a powerline ethernet from my wall socket). I then really struggled to follow the instructions and couldn’t get the configuration box to appear on any of my devices. It was only after some head-scratching that i realised the instructions assume you are trying to setup wirelessly.

This is a simple box to allow one to connect one’s old school hifi system to the modern cloud music. You take the thing and hook it up to the hifi system. You need to connect the unit to the home wifi network and follow immediately the update firmware advice on the leaflet. Those who fail to do this seem to have problems. Once that’s done, you can put the panasonic music app on your phone or tablet and begin to stream music to the hifi speakers. This is really a stopgap solution. Having perhaps spent a lot of money on a hifi only a few years ago, this dinky object allows you to connect the thing to the latest cloud and subscription music services. What i don’t like are the panasonic apps, which are not intuitively designed, or the fact that this is something else you have to plug in and take up room on your countertop. Other than that, it’s a good, temporary solution to the problem, but one that will resolve itself in future as later hifi models will undoubtedly have this facility built in.

Panasonic SC-AKX200E-K 400 W Wireless Audio Streaming Speaker – – Great little system

What a fantastic hi fi the blue tooth paired with my ipad no bother ,great equalizer plenty of choice ,radio clear sound ,played my turntable on it o bliss great sound just love it.

Excellent comes next day and is a very good system.

Bought 2nd hand, was as good as new from amazon next day delivery. This is one very loud piece off equipment the clarity off the sound is also spot on, im very happy with this so it gets 5 stars, in regards to the lights and internal memory on the other version compared to this dose not bother me at all as it has 2 usb slots for memory and its 40 quid cheaper an the bluetooth also works fine with mine and my partners phones and ipad. • Powerful and clear sound, large 16 cm woofer with hard press corrugation
  • Max Juke box and request songs using Max Juke app
  • Double USB (record and play)
  • 13 different pre-set equalisers for different music genres

Great system but be warned you really do need some space for it. The reason for 4 stars is because unlike the 600w version this one doesn’t light up around the dials, the parts are there but panasonic just hasn’t bothered to put led’s behind it which i find really frustrating, makes the system look a lot more bland and unappealing.

Excellent system for parties and general loud listening. I’m a live sound and studio engineer so i specialise in live audio and other areas of audio. Let me tell you this system is loud and filled with powerful deep bottom end. Other people are complaining that these sound bad, but to be honest it sounds like they don’t understand how eq works and how to blend all the frequencies together to make one whole sound. Just spend a few minutes fine tuning the eq on the system and these will sound just as good as any professional expensive set up. For large house parties these are perfect as well. I couldn’t recommend this system more.

A lot of people here are complaining about bass. Yep, its there and you cant do much to keep it from overwhelming mid frequencies. Bought it for the bedroom as speakers for tv and bluetooth player for mobile/tablet but for the time being have it set up in living room as im avaiting my jamo s626 speakers for my home cinema set up. It is loud and not much else to be honest. Im fairly sure this kit would make any teenager happy with that bass (not very deep mind you but a lot of it) and one thing which does my head is that remote control is really unintuitive to operate (setting own eq means you have to check manual instruction) and speakers have really short cables so i would suggest to buy some extra cable unless you plan to keep speakers together with the unit in one place. Not great but not that bad either to tell the truth.

Panasonic SC-ALL9EB-K 80W Powerfull Multi Room Speaker : A huge improvement on the All-8.

Looks great, shame about the sound. . This speaker looks fantastic – it’s fairly bulky but looks great on the shelf, very minimalistic with subtle buttons along the top of the device. You can connect via bluetooth or wifi and run spotify through it – if you’ve got premium you can also use your phone/laptop as a remote, which i really liked. Connecting to wi-fi is quite easy, just need to download the panasonic music stream app. Similarly, connecting via bluetooth is quick and painless. I also liked that you can set it up as an internet radio, with six presets. The only thing for me is the sound quality which lets it down (and is fairly crucial when it comes to a speaker). I found it to be a bit muffled unless you were sat directly in front of it – not much use if it’s in the corner of the room. It does go quite impressively loud though. Other reviews haven’t mentioned the sound issue, so perhaps i’m missing a setting or have a defective unit.

All8 with added features (and hopefully added reliability). ==getting my rant out the way==i have an existing panasonic allplay speaker network, so this expanded this nicely. However, having been badly burnt in the past by panasonic, and the faults in it’s first generation sc-allx units, and their whitewashing of the problem, it’s really hard to want to have anything to do with panasonic ever again. But hey, i am essentially locked in via existing technology purchases, so have little choice in that matter. ==overview==this is essentially a reworking of the fatally flawed all8 wireless speaker, adding 2nd generation features like the preset buttons, and restreaming from aux-in and bluetooth, and nfc touch. All these features really take this unit to the next level and the preset buttons are a game changer, meaning once setup, you don’t need to use the (still clunky, but much improved) panasonic music streaming app. ==sound quality==the sound quality from this unit is superb, really is top notch and hard to fault. And unlike sonos, allplay supports 24/96 uncompressed flac, means you really can throw hd audio at this and it sounds superb, you really won’t be disappointed by the sound quality. The other area in which allplay excels, is in room-room latency, which is substantially lower, meaning better sync between speakers (and in my experience, much less change of loss of sync). Allplay really is the platform of choice for people that care about music quality.

  • ALL Connected Multi-Room Speaker with 80W output power
  • Play Music from almost any source all controlled from the Panasonic Music Streaming App
  • Precise sound and distortion-free 2 Woofers, 2 Tweeters and Sub

As other reviewers have observed, this speaker is big, so make sure you have room for it by checking dimensions against available space(s) before ordering. It’s not something you will carry around with you. I have no other panasonic devices so i’m comparing it to my little bose soundlink bluetooth units. I wouldn’t say that the sound from it is better than the bose. Bigger, but not better in its detail, if you know what i mean. The music streaming app from panasonic is much improved as long as you are playing music already on your phone. Last time i tried one of these units, if you were playing music via it, then the app didn’t allow me to access the internet simultaneously. So far i have only streamed radio, but no problems so far.

A huge improvement on the all-8. . Firstly, it looks dead smart. The front cover is a fine smooth mesh made of material, rather than plastic. The quality of the rest of the speaker is excellent. Can get very loud when using wi-fi, which could obviously be amplified even further if you use the multi-room feature (connecting several units). Love the pre-set internet radio feature, the buttons are intuitive. Comes with an extra piece to enable secure wall-mounting. This is a great looking piece of kit which i feel will still look good in years to come.

Worth it if you can get it cheap enough. The rrp for this is over £300 and it’s certainly not worth that, especially as you can get a decent rig for half that. But if you shop around you may find it reduced in which case it’s worth a go. Despite what some others say, i quite like the way it looks. The controls and inputs/outputs are simple and straightforward to use. The wi-fi is easy to set up after you download the unit app and the instructions are straightforward enough. It copes with bluetooth and internet radio, the sound is good especially on the bass end and you can even hook it up by cable to a hi-fi system to cover all bases. But only at the right price.

Panasonic SC-ALL9EB-K 80W Powerfull Multi Room Speaker : Love it, wife friendly presets, no faffing. Been hunting through sonos, sony, chrome cast audio to find something that meets all our family needs. The all9 does it all, great sound, easy to use with 6 internet station presets, an aux to plug anything you like in and an ok app, its easy enough to use, not sure what all the moaning is about on here. Talking of moaning on here, set up was a doddle, press a button on unit 4secs, press wps button on side of router done, took no more than a minute. Very happy boy will be buying more units to build this set up, although you really don’t need to, sounds awesome.

This is such a difficult review to write. I’m trying desperately not to compare it to the rather disastrous all8 that basically stopped working after a couple of years. This all9 has certainly been improved. The added presets for radio are a good feature as is the addition of blue tooth, however the main problem is that it still needs to function with the incredibly clunky panasonic app. It’s just not slick enough compared to the device. To be honest, i’ve given up trying to stream my music and just use it for radio and spotify. If only there were more competition on the controller front,it’s an attractive enough piece of kit, in a black rectungular sort of way, and the quality of sound is exceptionally good, rich, deeep and fills the room nicely. It was easy to set up and recognised all our software on our devices from the all8. It’s certainly an improvement but i really feel that on the next upgrade panasonic should really overhaul the software to provide an easier user experience.

Looks great, shame about the sound. . This speaker looks fantastic – it’s fairly bulky but looks great on the shelf, very minimalistic with subtle buttons along the top of the device. Definitely needs a rethink of the required apps to match the quality hardware. This is a tough one to review. Having tried this speakerbox out in a number of different ways of using it, i can certainly say it is gutsy. Clear top notes and an effective bass with its multiple speakers inside the cabinet. Panasonic is a stablemate of technics in japan so i would expect nothing less. Firstly as an experiment i tried the aux in with a cable to a pc soundcard and was rewarded with exceptional performance using it that way. Bluetooth performance is also quite good. There is a little loss when sending music to it that way from a device or computer, but it is effective and could easily pay its way as a soundbar for a high quality tv. We have a recently purchased panasonic tx-49dx600b tv in the family so a test there also produced good results.

Panasonic multi room speaker. . This panasonic multi room speaker is an impressive bit of kit. Straight out of the box this was easy to set up and once i had my streaming app open on my phone this sync-ed up and i was playing music in no time at all. The sound is very bassy and it is definitely aimed at more modern music, but the sound overall was very good and handled a mixture of blues, rock and metal that i normally listen to. It was compact enough to be unobtrusive and yet big enough to provide an adequate sound spread.

Fantastic speaker, terrible app, horrendous user interface. . Very mixed feelings about this speaker. On it’s merits for sound quality, it’s a solid 5 stars, but for everything else it just lets itself down. First off – what the hell is this thing?.Well, it’s sort of like a bluetooth speaker on steroids. You can set it up to connect directly to any internet radio source you want, and by using multiple all-play speakers you can then stream music, simultaneously, throughout the house. You can also do things like be listening to music on your headphones though your phone while out and about, and then seamlessly continue the music through your allplay speakers as you come home. Or, you can use it as a bluetooth speaker. The big, big problem with this gorgeous sounding device is the app. I’m no neophyte when it comes to internet of things.

Panasonic sc-all9ebk mulit room speaker – hardware spoilt by software. The others reviews present have really hit the nail on the head about the contradictions of this pansonic speaker. So a short review to summarize the experience of this user, which appears to resonate with others. Pros* the sound quality is good. It handles bass well, has a great low end and whilst some speakers have a vibration problem it cannot be detected on this product. If your view of a product is conditioned by what you get then there is real substance present. (but see below)* the fact that this is a wireless and a bluetooth speaker is very useful. Connecting with wireless does tend to give it more range around the house and can be more stable than bluetooth. * the presence of an aux connection with a lead also allows you to connect this by cable to older devices.

The sound is very bassy and it is definitely aimed at more modern music, but the sound overall was very good and handled a mixture of blues, rock and metal that i normally listen to. It was compact enough to be unobtrusive and yet big enough to provide an adequate sound spread.

Panasonic SC-HTB18EB-K 120 W Soundbar and Sub : First one arrived, and didn’t work correctly, but

Brilliant piece of kit for the money. Brilliant piece of kit for the money. Don’t know what the ‘surround’ function is for though as it just makes things sound very muddy (you cannot make things surround from 2 channels, when will manufacturers realise this?) but apart from that a great product.

Stop moaning you moany people. Enhanced audio is better than tv sound. Plays nice with my kodi box via optical. Tv output via phono is fine for a 2. Hapiness when bluetoothed to my phone, deezer flow on (purchased separately) and a nice cup of tea. For the money this is a great product. Clearvoice on for audio is a must though or the sub overwhelms the balance of the mid range.

Looks nice but thought it would be a lot louder than it is. So really disappointed with that.

Great sound just the right amount of bass coming out of the sub easy to set up had it set up in 10 mins.

Very happy with my purchase. Exactly what i was lookin for. Merry christmas amazon staff.

Uncomfortable for listening to dialog. Getting a lot of popping from the sub during conversation which is very distracting. This is the first soundbar i’ve bought and at the moment i’m not seeing the benefit.

I like using it both for music and podcasts.

Best thing i could of bought very happy money well spent.

First one arrived, and didn’t work correctly, but. First one arrived, and didn’t work correctly, but a quick email to amazon, and a new one was on its way and they even picked up the faulty one.

Bought this to accompany the panasonic viera tv. As you’d expect, they work well together.

It’s not the best but good enough. . This soundbar is good enough for small to medium sized room, the surround and stereo sound aren’t bad but don’t expect cinema quality, the subwoofer could be better, it’s not in tune with the music, sometimes it blasts in the wrong moment, works better when i turn it to minimum or you can just disconnect it. If you want top quality sound system, you have to spend at least a couple hundred pounds. This one is good enough for me and it’s not bad value for money.

Panasonic SC-ALL5CDEBK 40 W Wireless Multi-Room Speaker : Good looking and sound quality better than expected.

Excellent device and panasonic all series in general. Excellent device and panasonic all series in general. All series has wide connectivity options from app and radio, spotify connect and bluetooth. You can easily group devices into groups and share music you play on one to all others. On this one you can share fm radio or cd to other speakers as well. It was excellent gift for my parents who are a bit oldschool in this respect.

Remarkable sound quality as stand alone cd. Remarkable sound quality as stand alone cd player or with streamed music from another source or playing fm/dab radio. However when used in combination with any other panasonic wifi speaker(s) or sound bar, etc. , the sound quality is simply superba very impressive & easy to use, compact and stylish piece of kit at a good price all considered.

Very well designed, good bass, clean sound. Works well with other wifi products.

Frankly superb, worth every penny. Have to say that when i was considering buying this unit i was also looking at its cheaper cousin the sc-hc29dbebk. So glad i went for this unit instead, the flexibility of being able to connect an additional all speaker unit and the sheer quality of the unit and the sound make it well worth the extra investment. The bass quality is astounding for such a thin unit and the range of connectivity options make this unit unbeatable in its range. If i had a gripe (and it would only be a minor one) it would be the look and feel of the ios app for streaming music – it doesn’t quite have the intuitive layout and attractive feel of your average ios app, and really does feel like an android app ported over. That’s not to say it doesn’t work because it works fine but it doesn’t look like an ios app and i don’t find it particularly easy to use.

Just what i was looking for.

Panasonic SC-ALL5CDEBK 40 W Wireless Multi-Room Speaker : Mainly good but with some frustrations. It looks and sounds good and is obviously a sophisticated piece of kit but it proved difficult to set up and it’s not particularly intuitive to use – especially the radio. In fact the radio is my main gripe. Admittedly i live in a poor reception area but it took a lot of adjustment to get the dab working properly and i find the antenna incapable of picking up fm stations. However, i bought it together with an all2 speaker and once set up they work together well. The free smartphone app is essential for pairing and was initially a source of much frustration, but this has recently been updated and now works smoothly and effortlessly. In addition i can stream music from my pc, tablet and smartphone and find that bluetooth and usb work well. Overall, not the most intuitive of systems to use, although as a stand-alone it would be easier, but it gives me good quality sound where i want and i’m glad that i didn’t give up and send it back initially because perseverance has proved it to be a good investment.

  • 13 different pre-set equalisers for different music genres

But for a medium living room ect its fantastic x: ). It works for me and yes the leads from the unit to the speakers r to short ,but for a medium living room ect its fantastic x:).

We’ve got a bell-end at work who has bought one of these for his little work area and i can vouch for the bass on this thing. It’s loud and certainly destroys any actual tunes that are trying to escape the large speakers. Have yet to find out if it’s shock or coffee proof or whether it will withstand a forktruck running over it. Has a nice long cable that begs to be cut and also has a handy loseable remote. Think it has a guaranty, let’s hope so.

Panasonic SC-AKX400EBK 600 W Speaker System with Wireless Audio Streaming and 2 GB Internal Memory – Black : My wife got this for me for christmas. I got a demonstration from a staff member. I have had high quality rack systems over the years and this has parallel sound to any of them. All my cds can be put on memory stick for car use. Speakers seem to have a short wire but that’s only gripe. I cannot wait to get my own set up.

Sound okay but the cable not being long enough is a major hindrance for me period.

No panic, panasonic sc-akx400ebk 600wspeaker system. No need to hire a dj with this stereo, it’s just what i need to entertain my family and friends when those special occasions arrive. Great sound quality, stylish colour changing led lights, beautiful black high gloss speakers’ well chuffed with this product’.

I’m an ex dj so i insist on good sound quality. After researching a few systems i opted for this one after a visit to my local curry’s store, tried it out in store using bluetooth from my phone and yes i was happy so i bought it. Once set up at home i spent a few hours on it getting the sound how i like it and it has a nice rich powerful bass with good high clarity treble. A really good sounding system with a lot of features for the money.

I bought it after i had been greatly. I bought it after i had been greatly disappointed by an lg audio system that looks almost the same, but it actually has a big subwoofer added. I wish to tell everyone who is looking for powerful bass not to buy that lg because you will be disappointed. I returned it in anger and they gave me back my money. This panasonic has manual equalizer and it’s so good, with a very clear sound quality.

Why scrimp on the speaker cable wire?. This system is intended to be set up as it is in the picture. As previously mentioned on here, the cable wire is the shortest (on a hi-fi) i ever had. It will be a case of cutting off the connectors near the ends, adding another cable in the middle and then reconnecting the original connectors. Official or even similar speaker cables are £15-£25 (speaker cable extenders don’t appear to be available). This is very likely to null and void the warranty. I having ended up using the 5metre speaker cables from an old technics systemoverall the hi-fi is very good, with enough bass to annoy the neighbours, 2 usb ports and bluetooth connectivity to control the system with your phone. . But one major common sense violation is the short speaker wires which you wouldn’t expect from a household brand.

If you love your music it sounds fabulous on this machine.

Panasonic SCHTB8EBK 3D Compatible 80W 2ch Soundbar – For the money this was excellent value. I did not expect the highest quality

Absolute bargain from top seller. Advertised as refurbishment but in brand new condition and is a fantastic piece of kit, has optical and phono ins, surround sound and clear modes with bluetooth , a right bargain.

The perfect match for my tv. . Great product, the two settings for surround and clear speech are just perfect. The sound is so much clearer with this sound bar than that of the panasonic tv it’s linked to. (i used an optical cable 2 metres at £6. 95)there was no option for a wall mounted bracket, which would of been great.

Sound quality is better than what you get on flat screen television. Plenty of power for the average room. This is a sound bar so don’t expect 5. Blue tooth or digital input but does not come with a digital cable. The blue tooth is great for listening to content on you tablets or smart phones, or even with your laptop computers. Sound quality is quite good and you can select voice or wide options. I like the voice selection as i’m getting long in the tooth and is better for my hard of hearing ears. Reviews from purchasers :

  • Such an improvement.
  • Good quality sound
  • got broadband we can use this on all channels good sound

Good sound, had some issues which turned out to be my tv.

It’s very clear and extremely loud. My only frustration is the modes – they seem to work in opposite modes, and the remote. They could have designed it better.

It works well very happy with it and easy to set up.

So duly installed and it does what they say and gives you a fuller richer sound with some bass, just like the sound you used to get on the last generation of not-quite-so-slim televisions. So i now have a sleek skinny television with a fat long soundbar sitting in front of it talking up a lot of space which i can’t really afford on my limited shelving. Further, i have had to prop the television up on a one inch thick block of wood because the soundbar obscured the sensors on the bottom of the television, so that the remote wouldn’t work – unless i stood up to operate it, which rather negates the point of having a remote. At least i no longer have to put with the shallow, weedy sound that my new tx-32a400b television produces, but am i alone in wondering what the point of all this is?. If ever there was a triumph of form over function this is it. Tv manufacturers are now selling products which are deeply flawed; all that matters apparently is that they look pretty. Oh, and i now have another remote to play with because the volume is now controlled through the soundbar. So that’s one for the tv, one for the soundbar and one for the dvd recorder.

This is excellent for the money very pleased with sound quality did not come with leads so bought digital optical toss link connections. Easy to fix up but dont forget we had sky box so had to change settings on sky by going on settings menu and finding sound settings mine worked on hdtv setting tihrd from top. I thought box wasn’t working till i changed this so for novices like me this might help.

Sounds is clear and with the right amount of bass for a small bedroom soundbar. Downside is the remote only worked for a day or so and i have requested a replacement remote over a refund or return.

Very effective for a small unit. Bought as a replacement for a failed sony music center. It is very neat, the sound is amazing, both quality & volume for such a small unit and small speakers. We are using it in the kitchen (quite large) which it is filling vey well, primarily my wife playing cd’s while she cooks. Have not yet tried all the features but everything so far has worked very well and as expected.

Great sound and so easy to use out of box plug in and go well made.

Brought it for my son for christmas. He has thanked me for it but that’s it. I’m sure he would have told me if it wasn’t any good so no news is good news?.

This is an excellent piece of kit. Produces an engrossing and excellent dynamic sound for what is a compact system. Have had this for several weeks now and am hugely impressed. It’s up to panasonic’s usual extremely high standards. Highly recommend this and costs just over €100 (thanks to a favourable exchange rate).

Really pleased with this item great sound.

I am totally impressed with this system. I was worried it wouldn’t be up to much because of the very reasonable price but it is fantasticnot so the set up instructions which to a novice like myself were quite complicated. I actually had to ring panasonic. In rumania would you believe, for help on how to set the radio up. The sound really is excellent. Very pleased i purchased this particular model.

Bluetooth connect’s easily with tablet & phone.

Panasonic SC-PM250BEBS DAB Micro Hi-Fi System – Tremendous Bass – Bring on the Barry White !

I bought this system as i wanted something to listen to my old cds on but still connect via bluetooth etc. I didn’t want to spend mega-bucks and wanted something compact to sit in the lounge. I have to say i’m really impressed with this little system, it gives a much better sound than the single unit wireless speaker systems i’ve tried. It’s really easy to set up and use. The fact it had dab radio was a nice bonus (i’d probably suggest getting a free standing aerial though as i’ve found it a bit hard to get a good signal with the cable aerial that comes with it). The only drawback i’ve found so far is the speaker cables are a little short so if you want to separate the speakers more than a few feet you’ll need to get some extra cable. But when you consider the price of the system against what you get for your money, it really isn’t a big issue.

I was worried that it wouldn’t be loud enough or it would sound tinny. You might want to purchase better speakers for large areas but turning the volume to 1/3 maximum allows my to hear it loud and clear at the end of my garden (50ft). Dab is great with built in ariel.

Am enjoying listening to my favourite rock music on it – fairly loudly. Couldn’t wait to unpack it, very well boxed up. Am enjoying listening to my favourite rock music on it – fairly loudly. Great price and sound quality. Lovely little system, but not short on power and clarity. Very surprised at the quality for the price.

It gives a rich clear sound and its nice to see a proper bass and treble control. A lovely hifi, which fits perfectly in the small space under our stairs. It gives a rich clear sound and its nice to see a proper bass and treble control, seldom seen on compacts these days. The dab radio is very good and has picked up lots of channels when our portable dab does not. There is a scrolling display of station and information which is dimmable. The process to store the radio channels is a bit over complicated, but have managed to get 20 of my favourites stored. It also has four sound modes, of which i prefer heavy, and also surround and dynamic bass. The speakers are well made and give a great sound. The bluetooth is a great feature and when started the pairing, it quickly found my iphone and played with no problems. I’ve never had a panasonic but i would recommend this, it is a superb little hifi with great build quality and great service from southern electric via amazon.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • Big on features, cheap on build
  • Lovely hi fi system.
  • A lot better than I expected !

Big on features, cheap on build. I’ve given this 5 stars based on its performance/value for the price. It isn’t perfect, but its shortcomings can be forgiven in lieu of its features. First the negatives; as per a previous review, the rear cover is plastic, not metal, and has obtrusive-looking screws on the side panels. It does give it a ‘cheap’ feel, but once its on the shelf/wherever you may be putting it, its not really something you’ll notice or dwell on. The cd tray also feels a bit on the flimsy side, certainly not as sturdy as some of its (cheaper) contemporaries, but it functions ok. The remote may be the system’s biggest downfall. In an effort to keep it small (cost cutting?) many functions are grouped into one button, which you must then repeatedly press to cycle through to the option you require. Main transport/volume/source controls have their own buttons however.

Conclusion – great for a bedroom ,kitchen ,dinning room or a good budget main hi-fi. Read some of the negative reviews but as i could not find any simple to use alterantives thought well can always send it back. Apperance looks very nice in the bedroom not cheap or nasty at all. Sound -very impressed for £100 its pretty amazing ,turned it on full was to loud to stand next to ,it replaced a £350 hi fi and on low-med volume i’m not sure i could tell the difference. Conclusion – great for a bedroom ,kitchen ,dinning room or a good budget main hi-fi and simple to operateedit -presets are very complicated to set and gave up ,instructions do not follow what the remote has and took a long time to get back to normal dab ——lost a star.

A good product, very small but a very rich and powerful sound. For the price, i would recommend.

Great price and sound quality. Lovely little system, but not short on power and clarity. Very surprised at the quality for the price.

A simple cd player radio something i couldnt find locally to buy well happy. Arrived very quickly well done hermes well packaged without being over the top. The machine itself is exactly what i was looking for simple and effective, got a good tone easy to use and very compact, its brilliant love it.

Does not work with ipod unless ipod has bluetooth. I’m sure most people know but one of the reviews here says you can use ipod through the usb, you can’t and there’s no aux in. I realised this after about 5 minutes but in that time i was v impressed with sound quality and volume and upset that i am having to send it back.It was a reconditioned one from worldtech that looked immaculate and arrived the day after ordering – not 3-5 days later as expected.

After having read reviews of this item, and other more expensive alternatives, i decided to buy. Pairing with my samsung s3 was very easy. The dab radio was easy to set up (some alternatives that i considered did not come with aerial, this one does but needs to be taped to the wall). I live in a good dab reception area and have a very good signal. Best check your coverage online. The unit allows you control over bluetooth, volume level, various eq settings, an input for flash drive (mp3 only) play either by track or albumn folder, + timer for sleep/alarrm clock. The speakers are small but if you don’t want to ‘bang’ it out and annoy your neighbours are perfectly adequate.
