Good but could be a lot better. . Well made with good quality controls. I bought these speakers to improve the sound from my tv speakers and used as such they are a disappointment. I’ve had to turn the bass right down and increase the treble almost to the maximum to get speech that is clear. The speakers are particularly bad when a voice is heard against a low background sound as in a football commentary, speech becomes muddled and difficult to make out. I can’t help but think that the speakers are set up for a heavy bass presence with not enough thought given to voice frequencies. If used with a pc you can make use of the built in graphic equalizer of windows and correct this deficiency, but with a tv this is not possible. However i intend to buy a separate graphic equalizer and feed the speakers through the external equaliser. I would rate the speakers as having good potential but the set up from the factory needs looked at again, even with the adjustments available through the bass and treble controls the bias is too much towards the low bass frequencies.
Very good quality general purpose desktop speakers.

I could not ask for anything better as all my needs are fulfilled. I would say they are just as good or possibly even better than the high range bluetooth speakers you can buy for hundreds of pounds. I would definitley reccomend these to anyone looking for a cheap but high-quality alternative to expensive brands.
The best bookshelf speakers i have owned (have owned a few including bose) for the price number 1. Wow, surpassed all my expectations, so many of the reviews say the same thing, so just to repeat, they sound great, have plenty of oomph and yet delicate clarity and separation of the sound. At this price i really dont think they can be beaten, so buy them, you will be so glad you did.
Excellent piece of hardware.
Great sound quality and fantastic value. I wanted some amplified speakers to use in my ‘home office’ which would do justice to my music collection while i was working from home. I spent a considerable time reading reviews of potential speakers to pair with my home computer and even auditioned some in our local currys / pc world. I was considering the bose companion 2’s and creative gigaworks 20’s as i did not want to have a large subwoofer lurking under my desk. The bose and creative speakers sounded okay but did not have much depth to them – but still really good for such small speakers. I then came across reviews of these wavemaster cube mini speakers on a couple of websites and was impressed with the specification and customer reviews. I decided to take a risk and buy the wavemaster speakers based purely on the reviews, and as they were such good value, i was ‘only’ risking £80 in any case – not £300. This has turned out to be one of my best decisions ever and i still feel like it was a bit of a gamble, which really paid off in this instance. These are roughly twice as wide (150mm) as any of the previous speakers mentioned and just a little bit taller and deeper than both of them, but the power and depth of sound is in a totally different league. I don’t have to turn the volume much over 1/3 of the power available to have my music at a comfortable volume, so they have plenty of capacity for other applications such as boosting the sound quality and quantity from your tv etc in a larger room.
Pretty good high and low notes. Exceptional value for money, pretty good high and low notes. Ideally suited for me as the sound is quite directional so i can listen to it at a reasonable volume without having to entertain the entire neighbourhood.
Its sound quality is perfect in my eyes. Its sound quality is perfect in my eyes. Though every once in a while it decides to disconnect or i cant connect to it and i have to turn it on and off at the plug. Im unsure of why this is but it is only a minor nuisance. I wouldn’t let it put you off buying.
I bought these speakers for me and my wife’s sanctuary (bedroom) and boy they don’t disappoint, the bass is crisp while it holds the mid range and low range well with the clarity of sound being very clear. I have the 50 watt version and one happy wife who can now hoover the upstairs of the house and listen to her tunes without straining her ears. So if you were thinking of buying these don’t hesitate you won’t regret it.
Excellent quality desk/shelf speakers. I was very surprised just how good these little beauties are and not as expensive as more well known brands like bose either which makes you think that’s because they don’t sound as good. Well i can confidently say that is not the case here. I was originally just looking for some new pc speakers to sit on my desk in my home office. I wanted them to be bluetooth so i could stream spotify from my phone through them but also have the ability to plug into my pc’s audio out. You can actually connect 3 different inputs into them if you wish, the third being stereo rca. After connecting them up and trying them out i would actually say you could use them as living room speakers. The adjustable volume, treble, bass and crisp quality is amazing for such cheaply priced, small speakers.
Wavemaster cube – 2. 0 bluetooth bookshelf speaker system (50 watt). After seeing a review on utube of wavemaster mini cube:[. (smaller version) i decided to go for the larger more powerful option, producing an output of 50w. After setting these speakers up, i must admit i’m very pleased with the not only the quality of sound, but the connectivity is unsurpassed. I love my music and for an active pair of speakers the dynamic range of tonal quality that these speakers produce is outstanding, i would recommend these to anybody looking for overall quality of build and sound. 0 bluetooth bookshelf speaker system (50 watt) for smartphones, tablets tv, mp3 / uk version (66325). ]
Excellent value and quality for money. I was looking for a simple blutooth speakers for use in my bedroom. I was given these as a gift and my my am i pleasently surprised. The flexibility of inputs, the sound quality and the build quality are astounding. Songs items don’t come close to this and they’re much cheaper. I’ve been streaming hi resolution flac at 24/96 to these and they really do sound great. Every connection you need is in the box. I’m very pleased and would recommend to anyone.
Was in the market for a half-decent set of speakers for my workstation. I’d already returned a pair of bose companion 2s (little pc speakers with no tone control for £90) because they were frankly awful, and was about to order the slightly more expensive harmon kardon soundsticks (which i’d heard before but didn’t really like the look of), then decided to do a bit more research. After a while i found these, read the rave reviews and decided to take the chance. Best decision i’ve made in a long time. These are in a completely different league to both the bose and harmon kardons; and every other sub-£100 powered speaker set i have ever heard. The cubes are basically fairly decent hi-fi bookshelf speakers, but with built-in amplifier, bass and treble controls, two wired inputs and bluetooth. I went for the minis as they have to sit on my desk, but they’re still pretty chunky compared to pc speakers and easily loud enough to fill a small room. And there’s no need for subwoofer.
